Unsure what to think about this one.
I don't think I would have even realized it was a receiver, if not for the caption. So given that and the "not fitting the trope" thing - I'm leaning towards a pull.

I see a substantial majority for pulling. Do we need a crowner here to make it official? "Clock is set" generally indicates to me that the thread is about to be closed without anything happening, so I suppose it's crowner time?

The trope is how contemporary shows depict culture or technology from twenty years earlier (e.g. when the show's writers were teenagers). The picture shows a gimmicky receiver attached to a smartphone... while that's kind of funny, it really isn't this trope.
