@ Phantom's troupe: It's revealed that the troupe is named Scarlet Troupe. The troupe officially was a traveling theater troupe that adopted kids from villages struck by disasters, but they were also an assassin clan specifically "molded" by the theatre director, a former court mage of the Witch-King. Their positions as assassins were their roles as "actors", through both suggestion and outright mind control through Originium Arts. When it is said that Phantom slaughtered his troupe with his Brown Note, most of them actually survived that. Phantom's real name is Lucien, and his stage name in the troupe is Blood Diamond.

Finally have a stable 400/400◊ Anni 8 auto! Glad I got that out of the way so I don't have to spend time doing it manually while the event is going on.

Funnily enough my auto stabilized this week as well (for some reason while I managed to get 400 kills, the autos that week had let one of the flower bois though for some reason.

EDIT: 2 more to go and I noticed that this event is rather weird.

• We get S and mini annihilation stages back, except the last one is a full stage
• We have a plaque as a milestone for the middle of the milestones and the free outfit is so late that you need to unlock the EX stages to get it.
• The Trimmed medal is tied to the anni stage instead of a story stage
• There is a Code of Brawl esque progression system in addition to the farming...
• Which is for food and drink labels from an ersatz of a right wing pizza chain of all things (which is more of like a starbucks or a bar than it is a pizza place).

Dossoles is certainly a unique event

It is possible for Pancho Phase 2 to fall off the edge of the stern if his pathfinding goes awry, instantly defeating him

Pancho falling off the yacht isn't that weird, it's one of those wonky sprite hitbox thing and his whirling anchor attack push him slightly off to the left. About 3 out of 5 of my auto has him killing himself just because someone block his pathing.

Decide to throw more rolls so the data contract gets to 280. Ch'en Alter, Texas, and Pram pot 5. Silence, Broca, and Glaucus pot 3. Cliffheart pot 4. Sora pot 2. Spook Thorns and Greythroat. Still no Mizuki. I guess I just buy him from the store...

It's still funny because you can instakill a boss because their pathfinding caused them to bounce off a blocker and fall overboard.

Decided to give another tenroll to try and get La Pluma. That went pretty well, I'd say.◊ I'd much rather have a dupe than the other weirdo on the banner. He seems kind of... superfluous. Like a character with no purpose except setting fluff. <_>

Maybe this is just me, but it always feels awkward to call someone by their RI codename when they just spent the entire event being called something else. Like Elliot -> Passenger and Rafaela -> La Pluma.

Yeah, I'm more inclined to use her name. Ditto for Ernesto, since they literally only pick them out of a hat once you get them. That and maybe getting her mixed up with Plume.

I'd say Passenger is actually the outlier, though—one, because Passenger being a joke was such a persistent meme for ages that it's more well known. Two, there's a several decade gap between most of his story involvement and the playable version, so there's a pretty big distinction there. And... well, I'm going to call Mountain Mountain, because otherwise I keep wanting to get him to advertise cereal.

I say I use real names more contextually and codenames are the default. The only one that I seem to use equally as often as the other is Lisa's (Suzuran).

That said I imagine that people will eventually default to the callsigns after the event is over by virtue of there being enough fresh players that would've never played the event or players forgetting that the codename wasn't used or even created by the time of the event.

another example of where an operators real name is used over the code name (as opposed to the CN invoking Real Name as an Alias such as with Silence, Steward and Silverash, or even less subtly, Amiya, Ch'en and Kal'tsit) because they aren't an operator yet is Tony the Tiger over at Mansfield break (), as well as Mina (alias Pinecone).

Sorry for the douplepost, but I have a different question now. I asked about Ethan before, but I want to ask about Rosa this time....or rather Natalya.

I'm certain most of you are aware of the 6* Heavyweight sniper and that like her friends she too has suffered PTSD due to the Peterheim incident. IIRC this stems from her inability to change the outcome of the conflict there despite obstinately leading the noble students. I want to ask if her, still a civilian at this point and a non-combatant, would feel guilty for her inability to save a child from getting kidnapped despite being in close proximity of both the kid and her kidnappers (long story short, its for fanfic crossovers. Also she tried to prevent it, but failed horribly), and if it would be the straw that breaks the camels back, the last impetus she needs before deciding to become the operator known as Rosa?

She wasn't just "unable to stop it" she explicitly gave her approval for the nobles to raid the commoners for supplies (which started the entire mess). It's not just a matter of feeling helpless, she honestly thought at the time that it was for the greater good, to keep the different noble factions from infighting. This is why she later talks about her "illusion of being a good person" being shattered. She made a deliberate, reasoned choice that killed people. She wasn't powerless.

So with that in mind, I feel like thematically at least it's a little weird to focus on a sense of helplessness (even if in a vacuum that makes sense as a motivation to become an operator). And also, well, I'm not sure how well the timing works out for that, since presumably this would have happened in Chernobog, and she made the decision to become an Operator much, much later, so I don't really see how it could be the final push if it's something from her past. Unless you mean it happened while she was a logistics worker at RI?

Edit: Amiya does describe the emotions she feels from all the Ursus kids as "helplessness" but that's more in the sense of taking control of their lives rather than wallowing in regret. And not about not being strong enough to achieve their goals.

As for whether it happened while she was a Logistics operator? That is also something I'm not as sure about. Because I don't exactly know what they do beyond supply chain stuff and presumably tending to the wounded (which given RI's nature is prolly something not exclusive to Logistics...but then again Medics don't normally attack mobs, so maybe they're the logistics side?)

That said I do want to ask for more thematic final straws for Natalya then?
