W's mines are randomized, so if the stuns or damage saved your run at some point, that could easily break on an auto run.
It's been fun.In other news, the next standard banner is revealed. Angelina, Hellagur, Manticore, Projekt Red and Beeswax.
I already have Red and am not interested in Hellagur enough to use Distinctions so I'm gonna try a single multi for Beeswax/Manti/Ange
I had to redo my Anni 4 today as well since I did a bunch of masteries last week and the timing was now off.
Anyway my scheduled for the week is gonna be tape and Defender chip farming. with the goal being to E2 at least Eyja, Amiya and Mudrock before CC 3.
(LMD farming would likely come after getting all the chips needed for Defenderknights and E2ing Eyja, mostly because of fear of bankruptcy)

I have about 1500 sanity worth of potions I have to use up this week. I'm gonna go insane from rock farming.
Depending on how things go, i have to buy Rose.
Code of Brawl rerun is in 3 more days. The expiration date should last until the event drops.
I heard Co B isn't a farming event but just complete all the stages and you're done.
It is, which gives me time to for farming Chips, Tapes and LMD.
Mission 0-8 is now complete. Sorry, Mephisto, but your souped-up slugs were no match for me. I was taught the power of Ao E attacks in the last tutorial!
As for this upcoming event, being a newbie, my first reaction to the tweet about this upcoming event was "Wait, is there really an operator named Waai Fu?" I see what you did there.
The Living Guildpact rules that coffee is an acceptable substitution for rest as specified in subsection … whatever. The name is pronounced Huai Hu though and thus it isn't a reference to the fanspeak. QEDnote

Wow, you are playing through this extremely slowly.
@nightwyrm Oh, right. CoB is one of those early game events when the devs aren't sure yet what to do with it. My memory gets jumbled because I remember I wasn't strong enough to clear every EX stage, and I mistaken that empty feeling as not farming enough mats.
Well, not that it's too much a big deal. I can farm whatever I want now.
It was pretty much the first event that I could clear far enough to get the plot fully unlocked. Also, this was also when I seriously started to pay attention to the actual plot because I usually just skip with games I barely interested in other than free rolls.
Glad I didn't because Penguin Logistics rock.
Burning love!Yeah, one thing to remember is that the original language is Chinese, so names are occasionally rendered in ways other than how they're pronounced. Consider Fang - she's introduced next to Plume, who's visibly a Liberi (bird person), so it makes you think that "Fang" is a Lupo (wolf person) codename. Nope! She's a Kuranta (horse person) and "Fang" is how you write 芳 for "aromatic", which is closer to "Feng".
It's been fun. They are also using an old, obsolete style of romanization, I believe. Like, "Ch'en" would usually be written as "Chan" these days, iirc.

It's been fun.Isn't it the case that Waai Fu is just the Cantonese for Huai Hu? Lungmen being Cantonese 'cause Hong Kong right?
Finally done with the story, too. I really wanted to M3 Guard Amiya's skill 2 for the glorious lore accurate finisher. And yes, definitely lore accurate with Surtr doing 80% of the work
As for the story, R8-8 is just sad. JT 8-1 is fucked up. Why just not mercy kill??? And Kashchey is such an asshole not unlike the main villain of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
"If music be the food of love, PLAY ON" - William ShakespeareThis isn't like a huge deal or anything but it's probably worth remembering that Kaschey was just another victim being possessed by the Deathless Black Snake. I mean, it's not like we ever met him before that, so we can't say if he was a good or bad person back then, but referring to the being possessing Talulah as Kaschey instead of the Deathless Black Snake feels like it's missing the point ever-so-slightly.
Also finished Chapter 8. One more thing I noticed is that while the setting seems close to 20th century, a lot of plot beats and tropes in the narrative are that of high fantasy and medieval court intrigue. Maybe it's a direct result of magic being a real thing and the majority of the countries being kingdoms and empires, but even the Rhine Lab and the corporate warlords from Columbia Republic is pretty much a miniature Decadent Court in Mansfield Break.
Yeah, it's definitely telling a story about knights and wizards and kings painted over with a modern setting. I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing, but it is what it is. That said, a lot of its themes about discrimination and whatnot are timeless anyway.
Another day of Annihilation, another day of my Kazimierz auto breaking. From the leaks, it appears that W's mines placements fucked up somewhere along the line and explode prematurely. However, I admit that the deployments of my auto aren't very decisive so the victory is technically a close shave compared to Lungmen Downtown. I don't have Eyja so I settle with Angie, but her range basically forces her to fire her skill too close to comfort so she might let several drones escape, especially when there are frost drones. Maybe I'm actually gonna max out her mastery for this.
