- learn something physical, like an instrument, how to sew or knit, etc
- a lot of museums and zoos and the like are doing virtual tours or free online classes, so keep an eye out for that as well.

While the outbreak started around New Year's Day (12/31), it's picking up steam around the Asia-Pacific region especially since Mainland Chinese people tend to travel a lot.
For reference, the BNO Newsroom twitter has a special feed for any info on the coronavirus:

The WHO has page about COVID-19 and any other concerns people may have. I suggest peeps go to the Q&A page to check for official details.

Yeah, for all I know it's unrelated. I'm trying to do the process of elimination and the vaccine was one of the more recent things I'm trying to rule out.
Thanks for the kind words both of you.
A good article from Kyodo which mentions that the HK populace did little to support mainland expats protesting the restrictions on COVID-19 in China.
This suggests that the NSL can be applied against them.
"Exit muna si Polgas. Ang kailangan dito ay si Dobermaxx!"Around here, yes. Turns out they curb a lot of aggressive behaviour, when the really nasty customers don't have a clear way to get at the employee.
Not Three Laws compliant.Ha, an unexpected convenience.
I haven't really paid attention, but at least some stores have them still up, yes.
Optimism is a duty.I don't recall anywhere that's removed them from around where I live either.
If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.Yeah I’m still seeing a number up, but it very much comes across as companies being to lazy to pay to get them removed, not someone judging them as still being valuable.

Optimism is a duty.In the case of a couple of places, they actually removed the temporary ones and installed permanent ones. That doesn't mean it's the same decision in all cases, but at least in a few, a conscious decision was made to make them permanent.

But it was really restricting air flow and making an already hot kitchen sweltering, so I can understand.
No replacements or maintenance on them, plus staff ignoring them completely.
Where I have seen them go it seems like a similar story, they degrade for a while then disappear at random, rather than being removed in bulk as part of opening up.
"And the Bunny nails it!" ~ Gabrael "If the UN can get through a day without everyone strangling everyone else so can we." ~ CyranI just saw a birthday card that said “Sending You a Socially-Distanced Hug.” Would that be an Unintentional Period Piece now?
Flora is the most beautiful member of the Winx Club. :)I am not sure if this is on topic, but I would say not since it was I do not think it was meant to be timeless.
That would be a period piece, yes. Very much of the time of the pandemic.
It probably just means someone reused their pandemic-themed cards from last year.
There will be a lot of that in the coming decades. In 20 years, new fans of current series who didn't grow up during the pandemic are going to wonder why everyone suddenly starts wearing masks in a particular season of this or that show for no apparent reason.

Optimism is a duty.Period piece yes, but unintentional one ? EDIT: Well since it was probably just reuse despite references to pandemic I suppose it is unintentional period piece.

I don't think the card was made with the intention of making it a period piece, it was simply made with current sensitivities in mind.

Optimism is a duty. It's a greeting card, they're not intended to have a long shelf life, they just don't tend to be cycled out of inventory that quickly.
Not Three Laws compliant. It's astounding how much China has fucked up transitioning away from Zero Covid. It's an appalling disaster.

"Sandwiches are probably easier to fix than the actual problems" -HylarnIndeed, appalling.
Optimism is a duty.they’re never gonna swallow their pride and use a functional vaccine, are they?
They can't. Not without jeopardizing their own credibility and justification for continued one-party rule.
It's a bit late for that, anyway.
Optimism is a duty.I mean, they could always just steal the manufacturing process for the better vaccines or something. Is that how it works?
I did have some extended symptoms from my first Astrozeneca vaccine, but we're only talking about a week, and I had no further issues with any other vaccine I've had (two AZ, one Moderna, one Pfizer).
Ultimately, it doesn't matter how long any of us have had reactions, if we've had them, or even what reactions we've had. You could wind up having identical symptoms to someone else and the cause to be completely different. You're better off getting checked out by a doctor who has access to your medical history.
Either way, I do hope you find an answer and are able to resolve it soon.
