Welcome to HGS: Another Side Another Story. It is a roleplay spinoff for the Hunger Games Simulator forum game, akin to both the RP's in the Roleplaying section as well as the ITTs in Forum Games. It tells the story of the Hunger Games in the Arena of Panem, the nominators who sent the tributes, the tributes themselves both in and out of the Arena or even other people relevant to the Games. In addition, it also tells their stories beyond the Arena.
You can jump right in with any character, like your nominator self, your tributes, etc. The structure of this RP will be open-world. Don't worry about not being skilled/experienced enough or being new to RP'ing. Finally, ASAS accepts any skill level or RP style. Other than these, there are some important rules to note, which are:
- No godmodding will be allowed or tolerated here. The offending player will be given punishment depending on the severity.
- Please communicate anything important you plan on another player with the said player first. Don't just execute it without their consent.
- Don't be rude to other players, both out and in-universe. This extends to RP offenses like railroading, guilt-tripping, coercing, or other forms of forcing them.
- This RP is related to the Hunger Games Simulation:Beyond the Possibilities forum game. Thus it will have events based from that game, including the tributes. This means if you want to RP as tributes, please nominate them officially on the thread first, with misses not being counted. This has to be done after an incident with a player who hasn't joined the game itself yet.
- Since this RP is Loose Canon in relation to the main HGS thread, the host's interpretation of events isn't necessarily 100% canon. Every player has the right to deviate from what the host says and go with their own interpretations. If multiple players have their tributes involved in the same event(s), please communicate with each other so that you're on the same page regarding how you see them.
- This RP chronicles the lives of the nominators and their tributes behind the scenes. While dark plots are acceptable, the overall tone of the RP should be light-hearted and comedic. This RP is not a Cosmic Horror Story or action story about defeating evil. It is a Slice of Life comedy with some adventure to it, first and foremost. Our previous RP, Convergence, is not representative of the intended tone, and the grimdark tone of that RP is one of the main reasons it was retooled.
- Nominators and tributes alike can transform into Pokemon whenever they enter a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon World (but they can bypass this with certain items/methods or shapeshifting) or via other means outside it such as a season event, Transformation Trinkets, or shapeshifting. The players are free to choose the Pokéforms that best suit their characters and even give them color schemes outside the standard and Shiny colors, but there is a hard rule for this. If you want your character's Pokéform to be a Legendary, Mythical, or Ultra Beast, please ask the RP mods for approval. Outside the Arena, these Pokéforms are still OP, but we want to give leeway for tributes who theoretically can have them such as deities.

Detective Gamechanger's Base
A sharp-dressed man in a green suit and yellow tie is standing by the entrance of the base. He is of average height and has whitish skin, though still a bit darker. He is Billy, one of the nominators and the organizer of the party.
Indeed, after the nominators' returned and settled their problems, they decide to have fun with a party. Billy also sent invites for all the other nominators out there, as well as basically anyone else, including tributes, non associated parties, interested nominators who haven't participate yet, or even those who just wants to hang out.
The place itself in the base is refurbished for party purposes. Fancy chairs and tables are set everywhere for people to relax, as well as put food and other objects for the latter. There's also various collections showcased, including those belonging to the Detective, like his classic cars. Various themes to the base are set too, including detective noir as GC would have preferred.
Billy is now awaiting for other guests to arrive. He is also ready to give them a pleasant surprise during the party pertaining to his nation.

Power continues painting, focusing on the details on each flower. "Actually, I have a lot of ideas I wanna put on canvas, like those costumes Ichi tried guessing last last Nightmare Night, but I just don't have time for them all!"
She puts down her brushes to show June her concept sketch of herself in Sans's hoodie.

"I experiment with different art styles, and I also designed my Ralsei costume for that holiday!"
"A cutie mark?" Fluttershy says to Sancaka. "It's the symbol that appears on a pony's flanks when they discover their special talent."
She points to hers, which is composed of three butterflies with pink wings.
"Everypony's mark is unique, as it represents not just their talent, but also who they are."
"I see..." Asriel says to Psyche, "for me, it's just Mom, Dad, Frisk, and 6k1, but I'm still hoping Mom and Dad get back together, especially since the war has long ended... and as for 6k1's mom and dad, I heard they were nice, and I also hope they're doing well, wherever they are..."
He looks back at the training course and sees that Mimi has crossed the finish line.
"Okay, time for a lunch break!" says Coach Hector. "Mimosa, while your agility is commendable, we have to work on your coordination so you won't knock down any of the obstacles! Also, you must stay on the pause table for 5 seconds as per the rules!"
Mimi glances at Arcturus' perfect run and blushes. "Sorry..."
"And regarding Blackblood," 6k1 answers Wanda, "I hope Billy can come up with a plan to stop this weapon from being activated! I'll see if I can help when I have the time!"
She then feeds Mimi and checks her mail. 6k1 watches the video and nods with approval before calling Alphys.
"As a reward for the successful data clone experiment, would you like to be my additional Mission Control for the Voidlands trip?"
"N-N-N-No thanks... I only helped Frisk traverse Hotland because I wanted to be part of their adventure, and I-I-I also tried monitoring the LOD battle, but it got too scary..."
"It takes a lot of courage to watch over your friends in a dangerous mission, but I understand if you wish to sit out. What about this: you can be my backup MC in case Ally isn't available!"
"Sounds like a good idea!"

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon World
It was nighttime. Freyja got out of her fiery portal. She was at some old ruins, with moon symbols here and there. She calmly walked until she reached an extremely small cave.
Inside, was a lone female Absol, with an Absolite nearby on a pillar.
"...Freyja? Is that you?" she gasped, slightly surprised.
"Yes Nyx. It's me." the Ember Empress sternly replied, not returning it.
"It has been such a long time..." the Absol muttered, a little smile on her face.
"I know. I had business to attempt to." Freyja coolly said sat down on the ground.
"You seem... Different."
"I do. I managed to mega-evolve without any stone, thanks to a blessing of some sort." the Ember Empress said.
"Hmmm... Groudon and Kyogre, was it not?" the Absol asked.
"You have foreseen that, do you?" Freyja asked, raising her eyebrows.
"I did foresee a future threat to our world, as certainly most of my species did. I had this feeling, but I certainly did not expect it to be on such a large scale. How did they contact you?" the Absol asked.
"They told me aliens have buried some kind of crystal underground. My guess is that Groudon felt and used it to its advantage despite being imprisoned."
"That seems to be the most probable option. Groudon is, after all, the embodiment of Earth itself. And giving the link it shares with Kyogre..." Nyx chuckled dryly.
"Yes. I never expected these two to cooperate, if the legends are true." Freyja sighed.
"Do you know what the crystal's purpose is? Or what even is their plans?"
"No. All I know, or more certainly what they were willing to tell me, is that it is here for a specific reason and that those who planted it will certainly be back." Freyja shook her head.
"I see... Perhaps the threat I felt not only will come from the two titans but also those strangers..." Nyx pondered.
"You mean, an invasion like with the Legion?"
"Possibly, at the very least. The future is fickle in that regard... One thing is sure, dark times approaches, and not just towards this world."
"Something we might use for ourselves..." Freyja suggested.
"If two of the three primal titans required your help, there's no doubt we might have our own parts to play in the future, yes." Nyx said. Feyja nodded as the two said nothing for minutes.
"Enough talk about the future. Right now, I am still waiting on my drinks, unless you want me to do these myself." Freyja sternly muttered.
"Ha... Always so serious... And are you not tired?" Nyx chuckled.
"Damnit, Nyx, I don't want to rest right now, I want to drink." Freyja spit. Of course, this didn't bother Nyx. They knew each other for a long time.
"Very well, "Ember Empress"." she said with a slightly mocking tone. Freyja rolled her eyes but gave Nyx a faint smile.
James's mansion
James yawned and rubbed his eyes as he heard a knock on his door.
"You may enter..." he muttered, trying to be somewhat presentable despite how late it was. He raised an eyebrow upon seeing both Nick and Arthur entering the Inteleon's luxurious room.
"It is midnight, why are you awake? Is something wrong?" He asked, worried.
"No, everything's fine, don't worry!" Nick reassured.
"Let me guess. You had nightmares?" the Inteleon sarcastically said.
"Out of us three, you are the one who's the most prone to have nightmares, Sobble." Arthur muttered. James stared furiously at him as the Decidueye smirked mockingly.
"In all seriousness though, why are you here?"
"We just wanted to spend some time with you... If you know what I mean..." Nick giggled, sitting on James's bed. The Inteleon gave him an incredulous look.
"He means we're going to sleep with you for tonight."
"Wait... Both of you?" James asked, surprised as the two other Pokémons went into each opposite side of the bed, which luckily was big enough to house them all.
"Hehe... You suddenly seem nervous..." Nick taunted as James blushed, gripping the blankets as the Cinderace and Arthur got closer to him.
"...It feels so weird..." James tried to say.
"I know. It's weird for everyone." Arthur calmly said.
"Say, we are not going to... You know..."
Both Nick and Arthur looked at each other in shock before giggling between each other. James looked at them, annoyed but soon joined in the laugh.
"Honestly, I never even had sex with anyone, so I have no idea how it works! And with two other men? That would be quite an experience."
"Excuse you?" Arthur said, frowning at Nick who sighed.
"I was joking yes, of course, I'm not in love with you Arthur. But we still have to find a way to share James when we'll do it."
"Yeah, share..." Arthur bitterly sighed with a frustrated face.
"Oh come on, we already talked about this. As long as he's happy, it will be fine." Nick said, cheerfully smiling.
"Yeah... I'm just not used to let him go towards others than I." Arthur replied, smiling back.
"Ahem! Ahem! Gentlemen? I am right here. I am not exactly anyone's property" James interrupted, faking to cough loudly with an annoyed expression.
"We know!" Nick giggled, rubbing James's head. The Inteleon rolled his eyes but still let him do.
"Anyway, about se-"
"You really have to bring that subject? It is quite an uncomfortable one personally." James interrupted
"Maybe, but it has its own importance. But you're right, let's drop it off for tonight." Arthur said before nuzzling his beak on James's cheek. James smiled, relaxing back, and nuzzled his face against the Decidueye's chest.
"Don't forget I'm here" Nick playfully whispered, hugging James. The Inteleon replied by hugging both of his lovers.
"This feels like a dream. Our first night together in the same bed... You don't know how thankful I am so glad that all of this ended up well." the Inteleon said.
His two lovers looked at him with loving eyes, and James pulled them even closer. He started to shake
"Feeling cold?" Nick asked.
"I suppose... It is winter, after all" James answered as Arthur covered him and even Nick with one of his wings to keep them warm.
"Let's keep you warm then." Arthur said, caressing James's shoulder.
"I know you two will." James whispered. The trio giggled together and they soon fell asleep.
"You're married like me, you know monstrosity can take many forms."

Yeah! (June nods.) Do ya bring clothes like that t' life from your paintin's, too?
The Great Valley
(As the fight rages on, Argus, Taki, and the others try to come up with a new plan, especially with Spike so big now.)
Hey, maybe this isn't so bad! (Taki says.) Maybe he can just squish the monster now!
But what if Spike gets hurt? (Ducky asks, still very worried about her brother.)
I don't think Spike needs to actually fight against the monster himself, but maybe he can knock rocks off the cliffside onto him! (Argus suggests. He looks up at Spike.) You get all that, big guy?
(Spike nods and moves toward the side of the cliff.)
We should make sure we get him somewhere away from anyone else so nobody else gets hurt. (Argus says.)
How do we do that? (Taki asks.)
(Argus observes again how the monster seems focused on Stomper.) Taki, go to Stomper and tell him to lead the monster this way. When he gets say...right here... (He scratches an X into the ground with his spear.) Spike can knock some rocks down onto him. The rest of us should get out of the way. Are we clear?
(Everyone agrees.)
Okay. Taki, go!
(Taki flies off to Stomper. The monster does swipe at Taki as he flies by, but misses. Taki lands on Stomper's head as Stomper continues trying to ward the monster off (with decreasing success).)
Taki, I'm sort of occupied at the moment, can it wait? (He asks.)
(Taki whispers the plan in Stomper's ear.)
Oh, I see. (Stomper says.) Well, if it will stop that creature from harming everyone...
(Stomper begins moving toward where Spike sits by the cliffside. The monster charges after Stomper at first, and soon moves over the spot Argus marked.)
Now, Spike! (Argus shouts.)
(Spike gets up on his hindlegs and brushes loose rocks down the cliffside. The monster looks up at the cliffside as the rocks start to come down and frantically begins mashing a bracer on its foreleg. Stomper and Taki quickly flee the falling rocks. When the dust settles, there's no sign of the monster in the rubble, but there's a large empty circle in the middle of the rocks where the monster opened another portal long enough to duck back through it and took several rocks through with it. A few seconds later, the effects of the Mega Mushroom wears off and Spike shrinks back down to normal size.)
Oh, Spike, thank goodness you are back to normal size! (Ducky says, scampering over and hugging Spike.) I was worried you would have to start sleeping in the pond.
Goodness...is everyone alright? (Stomper asks.)
(Everyone sounds off (except Spike, who simply nods).)
(A moment later, the older dinosaurs make their way over (fortunately looking none the worse for wear all things considered). The younger dinos' respective parents (or grandparents, in some cases) come running up as fast as they are able to make sure they're all alright.)
That wasn't anything like the Great Valley has ever seen before. (Grandma Longneck remarks as they do.)
Call me crazy, but I don't think that came from ANYWHERE around here... (Argus says.)
In any case, I hope it doesn't come back here again. (Stomper says. He seems shaken up more than hurt.) What did it and those other two want me for? I haven't seen any one of them in my life!
(Nobody seems to have an answer.)
If it shows up here again, we'll be ready! (Topps says.) C'mon, we're going home.
(Everyone begins heading back to the central part of the valley.)

Power laughs and takes a lunch break also.
"I'll just let the paint dry first before I work on the next layer. And yeah, I also summoned that Ral costume from my art, but it's Ichi who sews me most of my clothes!"
Meanwhile, 6k1 and Mimi sit beside Asriel while Hector sets up the course for the second trial.
"So Psyche..." says 6k1. "You having fun?"
"She's such a nice nominator!" says Asriel.
"That, she is, now that she's taking better care of her tributes. Now I'll just take my packed lunch and wait for the next season to begin, 'cause I wanna discuss my fan theories with you, Psy!"

"Ain'tcha already 'Punner Stroke', tho? Anywho, I may have made her a few outfits."

"I'm having so much fun!" says Mimi as she jumps onto Psyche's lap. "More pets, please?" she adds as she looks at Arcturus from the distance, her eyes quivering.
6k1 giggles at Psyche. "It's okay, just 'Psyche', it is! And as for fan theories..." she gets her phone, "I'm mostly wondering if any of the tributes will act as themselves in oddly specific ways... like someone turning Draco into a ferret and bouncing him up and down! Hehe, don't tell Ichi I said that."
Of course, Ichi and Power are too far away from her to hear her.
"And yeah," Power says to June, "Ichi made me this hoodie and many more!"
Back with 6k1, she wonders when the season will begin, for they're currently having technical difficulties. She then looks up and sees that the course is almost ready for the second trial.
"Anyway," says Asriel, "it was nice to meet you. I'll go and hang out with Power and Ichi, if you don't mind!"

Psyche's face lights up as Mimi jumps onto her lap and asks for more pets. "Of course!"
As she pets Mimi, she looks back up at 6k1. "Yeah, that's always exciting! Actually, I'm wondering if Draco and Byakuya will interact, considering how much they have in common... ah, speaking of Byakuya, remember that time in the OT where he declared himself the final boss of the season, then lived long enough to be the final boss?"
"Y'all oughta see, like, her Snoke robe. Methinks she's savin' those kinda outfits for a real Power move."
He watches the season begin on his phone.
"C'mon, they totally ganged up on Draco in that karate match."

"Oh yes, I remember that!" says 6k1, "and it's also the same season where Dumbo managed to kill two tributes despite being a baby elephant, but then died because his ears cooled him off too much... but at least he got 3rd Place back then!"
She then gets a notification that the season has begun, and she watches Data Clink claim that he's the fastest tribute alive while Klink tries but fails to kill Lesser Demon Cat with a golden hammer.
"Was it because the hammer was just a toy or Klink can't hold it properly?"
She groans when Tap-Tap the Red Nose rolls into the Library and destroys the door to steal a book, so she promptly calls Maintenance for repairs and Timothy to demand him to return it after the season. Meanwhile, Klink grinds some cereal between its gears while Clink splits himself and captures Skrawl inside him. Skrawl then breaks out of him and schemes to copy his containment powers.
Meanwhile, Power also watches the season and cringes at Draco being beaten by the 16 Tanakas in karate right after he dodged Eevee's Eevee Punch.
"He ain't no Kung-Fu Wizard, that's for sure..."
She wonders if Ichi pulled him from an earlier point in the Wizarding World timeline since 6k1 reported to her that there are no more Dementors in Azkaban, but then again, 6k1 nominated Draco himself at that age back in the OT (and also after he redeemed himself), so she shrugs and goes back to painting.
Asriel then drops by and says howdy.
"And those flowers are so pretty, Power! Can you paint some of them gold for me?"
"Sure thing, Azzy!"
"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"

"Oh yeah, I remember that," says Psyche. "Poor Dumbo, but yeah, at least he did well!"
The season begins. Psyche watches her tributes with mild amusement. "Now let's just hope Genocider Syo doesn't take over this season..."

Arena
Boy, gettin' through all dis is gonna be hard without Rudy! (Snap remarks as he hides away from the chaos going on around him. Finding an unattended computer, he picks it up and begins tapping away on it, pulling up a console.) Maybe I can make things ah bit easier for myself! Ah... (He enters the names of a few random tributes, which somehow results in him seeing the current status of the season.)
Yowza! Dis'll come in handy! (He says, taking the computer with him.)
(Later, Snap is messing around with the computer's drawing programs out of boredom and draws two other tributes. The drawing of Sebastian noticeably comes out looking a lot younger than he is supposed to be.) Eh, Rudy's the better artist anyway.
(Meanwhile, his and Rudy and Penny's biggest adversary is on the loose and somehow gains Clink's item-storing abilities from being attacked by the Experiment. Skrawl is not very happy about this until he realizes the possibilities that having such could bring.) Aha! I could use a power like this! All the better to hold Rudy's chalk with! Ha ha ha!
Eye-Sicle's Lair
(Eye-Sicle doesn't really have much to say about what's currently going on now. He just hopes that maybe he can get one more Battle Royale participant out of this.)
(Speaking of BR participants, he should probably get Taki and Argus back from where they ended up. He's feeling a bit better now, anyway. He gets up and starts heading down to the tribute chamber.)

Scipion's lair
Having already finished his meal and colored his mane with the wild Pokémon's blood, Scipion watched the beginning of the season with Morgan. Both tried to ignore Onox as the Toxtricity was still eating loudly.
"Hmm... That old crook does have a weird face." he commented on Palpatine, smirking.
Scipion got interrupted and screamed in pain as Onox accidentally threw a bone at his mane.
"OW! Onox, be careful damnit!!" Scipion shrieked.
"Shorry boch!" Onox replied, his mouth full.
"You stupid baby... At least he didn't trash your "holy" mane." Morgan snickered.
"You're exaggerating... My mane is precious to me but it's not like it's some kind of deity."
"Yeah. It's like you. Bland."
"Y... Y... You stupid imp!" Scipion roared, jumping at Morgan who cackled madly as Scipion punched him in the face. Onox watched the scene confused as Scipion quickly calm down.
"God it feels good to make you shut up..." Scipion grunted as he and a giggling Morgan got up.
"We both know I never shut up."
"Heh..." Scipion chuckled, waving his mane before admiring it in the mirror again, much to Morgan's annoyance.
Near Nyx's ruins
After a while, Nyx and Freyja got out of the ruins to search for some new place to hide for the time being.
To Freyja's confusion, Nyx suddenly stopped and closed her eyes.
"Hush. Someone is crying." Nyx muttered. Freyja raised her head to listen but frowned as she heard nothing.
"A young cub. The wind carries her cries." Nyx whispered, like if she was in trance.
"I hear nothing." Freyja grunted, annoyed as she crossed his arms. Nyx gave a small smile at the Ember Empress before following the sounds.
Nyx was right. Freyja started to hear a crying sound as they got near something. It was a small wild Munna. She visibly escaped an attack but was injured on her side.
Without saying anything, Nyx got near the young Pokémon. The Munna somehow calmed down as soon as Nyx put her paw on the wound.
"I see... Freyja?"
Freyja growled but complied. She violently kicked a nearby tree, causing it to fall. The Ember Empress then searched for the tree's roots. She brought them to Nyx before putting them on fire.
"My thanks. I will take care of the rest."
Nyx sat down and focused, reciting some kind of ancient language. The fire turned blue as it became cold. It gently started to float towards the Munna's wound, slowly healing it.
As soon as she recovered, the Munna gave a quick glance at the duo before escaping.
"I don't see the point of saving that one. That Muna was weak, hence why she was injured. She will probably not survive her next encounter." Freyja said, turning away from the scene.
"Perhaps... But I wished to give her another chance." Nyx sadly replied
"You know they all deserve it. The strong eat the weak. There should be no place for mercy."
"As we have been shown none, I know..." Nyx muttered. Freyja sighed and walked back to her.
"Come already. It's getting late..." she hissed, helping Nyx to get up.
"And you said there is no place for mercy?" she sarcastically said.
"Hmph. Perhaps you just deserve it then." Freyja emotionlessly replied. Nyx gave her a little smile, causing her to roll her eyes.
"We should meditate now, what do you think?"
"Whatever..." she grunted as the duo walked back to the lair.
"You're married like me, you know monstrosity can take many forms."

"Sure thing, Jared!" says Mimi as he then jumps onto his lap for cuddles.
"I'm not doing commissions since my income comes from my school," Power says to June, "but I'll be happy to draw whatever you request!"
"And Genocider Syo?" 6k1 asks Psyche. "Actually she's listed as Genocide Jack/Jill in the Database/Wiki because majority of the viewers are English-speaking, but yeah, I'm sure you can revert her if she takes over!"
"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"

Psyche nods in response to Jared asking to pet Mimi and lets her jump into his lap. She's starting to get a little overwhelmed by all the social stuff at this point, especially now that she no longer has a Starble on her lap to keep her settled. She takes a deep breath, trying to calm herself down, as she listens to 6k1 talk about Genocider... something. Whatever you decide to call Touko's alternate personality.
"Yeah, the names are a bit confusing," she agrees, "but no worries, I can revert her if I need to."
She resumes watching the season, smiling with amusement at Touko's translation blunder. "Eh, I wouldn't watch Byakuya's show. Too vapid and annoying."

Power continues observing Draco and wonders what kind of time spell he learned after he uses it to erase the Tanakas' yoga lessons for Kazuya, leaving only the end result of them feeling relaxed.
"I dunno, he prolly has something against those Tanakas..."
She then turns to June.
"Sure thing, I'm already done with this layer!"
Power whips out her sketchpad and markers and draws the vest for her. Asriel watches with awe as she then pulls it out with her magic.
"I hope this fits!"
"Wow, you're just like So Sorry!" says Asriel. "I saw him in Season 6, and I think he'd like to study at your school so he can improve his art!"
"I was thinking that he can work as an intern instead!"
Meanwhile, 6k1 watches alt!Palpatine force Clink to listen to the Imperial March as "calming" music and Murderverse!Cirno sell a defective fork repellent to Klink, causing it to be pelted by forks. Clink then runs away after awakening Simon's Stand while Klink discovers the leftover code of Data Toriel and resummons her.
6k1 excuses herself to call Alphys about this.
"Didn't I say that almost all the events would be preserved? This is one of them!"
"Ah, right... but her run this season won't be counted towards the original's track record, right?"
"I'd say so since she wasn't officially registered this season, but I'll inform the original Toriel about this."
"Sure thing, she'd be interested!"
6k1 then says goodbye and ends the call before turning to Psyche. She puts a hand on her shoulder.
"Hey... if you wanna go home already, it's okay. Or we can just move to another spot in the park with fewer people. Fluttershy can just handle Mimi for me."

Data Toriel materializes in front of Klink and looks at it curiously.
"Who are you?" she asks. "I've never seen a monster like you back in my kingdom!"
The Pokémon just floats while moving its gears, making mechanical noises. Toriel just giggles.
"You're one of my daughter's tributes, aren't you?"
Klink moves its gears faster and floats up and down.
"I think that's a yes? Either way, I'll guide you through the Arena!"
Capitol Park
"Alright then."
6k1 calls Fluttershy over and then excuses herself from the others before taking Psyche to a small pond down the river, waving to Power and co. along the way. The pond is still, but not frozen over due to the mild afternoon winter weather, and the river flowing into it sounds calming.
6k1 sits on an empty park bench facing the pond and invites Psyche to sit next to her.
"So... you excited for the Nom Games? I certainly am, and I can't wait to meet my friends in the Arena once again!"

(Snap unknowingly passes by an area full of weird gas, and for a moment he swears he can see ChalkZone and several of his friends again.)
Oh, hey! I'm back! C'mon guys, let's go out for some cookies, huh? (Snap says, picking up what he thinks is a cookie jar.)
(But it doesn't take long for Snap to come back to his senses and this vision to disappear.) Aw phooey... (Snap says, throwing the mossy rock he thought was a cookie jar down.)
(Feeling bummed out and lonely, he enters the Arena's black market and joins an internet chat room to interact with other people in a civil way, but the conversation gets derailed by the people making up a group tribute swearing excessively, to the point that they get kicked from the server.)
Sheesh, they're bluer than my mask 'ere! (Snap remarks, slamming shut the laptop. It's then that he notices a familiar face behind one of the stands. Despite the disguise, Snap recognizes his, Rudy, and Penny's nemesis immediately and ducks behind a crate.) Y'know, I'm not actually surprised this is where Skrawl ended up. Where's Rudy and his chalk when ya need 'em?
(Eye-Sicle is impressed that Skrawl finally did something that didn't seem completely idiotic. He thought this guy was supposed to be one of his homeworld's most dangerous residents, yet there he was somehow losing to himself while playing Rock, Paper, Scissors.)

(Jared and the others bid 6k1 and Psyche farewell. Jared leaves Mimi in Fluttershy's care and they all split off to do other things for the time being themselves. Jared goes to ride his bike some more while the reptiles start heading over toward the garden where Power, Ichi, Stanford and June are.)
(Meanwhile, June eagerly puts the vest on and tucks it into and under her ruff.) It fits great! Thank you so much! (June says.)
(Stanford is quite awestruck by this.) Intriguing...!

"Yeah, I'm excited, but... also kind of nervous, to be honest, considering what happened last time."
She also catches up on the season, though she doesn't really comment on her tributes' performances, considering they're just goofing around and having fun for the most part.
