You'd need to present concrete evidence in order to strengthen your point. Just saying "I saw a few cases where..." does not show how bad the misuse is throughout the wiki.
Also, TRS is under a heavy backlog, so why don't you help out with threads that are in the final stages?

The Vocal Dissonance trope itself seems valid enough (little toy poodle sounds like a Scary Black Man, hulking monster sounds like a little girl). A lot of the examples are clearly intended to have that function by the work, especially in animation, puppetry, radio etc.
However, almost all of the examples involving Real Life people (including Music and most of the Live Action TV / movie examples) are along the lines of: "If you look at Person X, you certainly wouldn't expect them to have a voice like Y!"
It seems like there's conflation between characters who were purposely intended to have their voice not match their appearance, and an Audience Reaction based on subjective assumptions about creators' looks.
How do we fix it?
