"Good point," says Jack. "We should probably do something about him..."
I haven't played the particular game that Tango is from, but still... robo kitty. :DYeah. (Wanda agrees.)
"I shall not be foolish again, my dear Gwendolyn!""Yeah," says Peter, looking at the note he received from the professor. "I guess we should investigate this address, then. Thanks, Professor, and good luck with your research."
"No problem. Take care," says Diggs as he resumes his work, adjusting the dials on the machine again. Peter then beckons for the others to follow him outside.
A great Mascot Mook. The group then follows the address that Professor Diggs gave them, leading them to an old inn on a quiet street on the other side of town.
"Looks like this is the place," says Peter. He knocks on the door a few times, but as there is no response, he pushes it open.
A great Mascot Mook.Krista follows inside, not sure what's waiting ahead.
Tell....everyone....The group walks into decently-sized lobby decorated with some old furniture like bookshelves and wooden chairs. It looks comfortable enough. A stairway to their right leads to the second floor.
A rabbit, presumably the innkeeper, comes in from a door behind the counter in front of them.
"Hello there... looking for a room for the night?" he says.
A great Mascot Mook."We are looking for a room, but not for the night," says Jack, secretly somewhat proud of himself for coming up with a cool-sounding response.
"Do you know of a wolf named Gregory who used to live here?"
I haven't played the particular game that Tango is from, but still... robo kitty. :DWe think he probably got himssself involved with everything that happened today in sssome form or another..
Tell....everyone...."Gregory?" says the innkeeper. "Oh, yes, I remember that one... lived here for a few months, I think. Usually stayed cooped up in his room when he was around here. If you're hoping to find him, I'm afraid you're out of luck. Left a couple of weeks ago."
"Hmm..." says Peter. "Do you think we could have a look at his room? If it's not currently occupied."
"I guess so..." says the rabbit, leafing through a few papers on the desk. "It's, um... room sixteen. Upstairs, near the end of the hall."
A great Mascot Mook."Thank you so much," says Jack. "We won't be too long."
I haven't played the particular game that Tango is from, but still... robo kitty. :D(Wanda prepares to go up to this room.) Hopefully we'll find something useful, eh? Unless he cleared everything out already.

"I shall not be foolish again, my dear Gwendolyn!""Let's hope not," says Jack. "I wonder if he left behind a journal full of insane ramblings, or a dartboard with Professor Diggs' face on it, or something."

I haven't played the particular game that Tango is from, but still... robo kitty. :D"Yeah... I'm also a little nervous thinking about what we might find..." says Peter.
The group heads to the upper floor and crosses an old carpeted hallway to room sixteen near the end. Peter slowly pushes the door open and takes a peek inside. There is not much — a bed, a wardrobe, a small desk, a window on the wall across from them, and a bookshelf. The bed is made and the window looks like it has been probably been cleaned, at most, a few days ago.
"It looks like they've still been cleaning here regularly," says Peter, looking around. "They may have already thrown out whatever he left behind... but if we're lucky, maybe we can still find something."
A great Mascot Mook.Krista gets to looking around.
Tell....everyone....(Wanda doesn't waste much time before getting to looking herself; starting by crawling under the bed to see if anything of note might be under there.)
"I shall not be foolish again, my dear Gwendolyn!"Under the bed, Wanda will find a couple of newspapers.
Meanwhile, Peter goes to inspect the desk, but there does not seem to be much of note—just a pen, and empty bottle and a note saying "Please leave the desk as is when cleaning the room." Peter assumed that Gregory had left the note for the inn staff.
The window is fairly small and only provides a view of a few trees outside.
A great Mascot Mook.(Curious, Wanda grabs the newspapers as best as she can with her small arms and inching back out from under the bed.) Hey, gang, I found some newspapers under the bed. I dunno if they'll be useful for anything, but maybe it wouldn't hurt to check 'em out just in case there's anything to go on.
"I shall not be foolish again, my dear Gwendolyn!"Can you read them? Sssurely there isss sssomething we can follow from that.
Tell....everyone...."Our first clue! Interesting..." says Jack.
I haven't played the particular game that Tango is from, but still... robo kitty. :D(Wanda lays the newspapers out on the floor and begins scanning them for any clues.)
"I shall not be foolish again, my dear Gwendolyn!"Krista follows along in scanning the papers for anything.
Guysss...we need all eyessss on thisss. Gotta find ssomething on here...
Tell....everyone....Peter looks over the newspaper's pages one by one to see if he can find anything of interesting.
"Hmm... Ah, look! This article here is highlighted!" he says. "It looks like it's an article about unusual monster sightings in some areas around here. And it mentions a forest near town..."
A great Mascot Mook."Interesting... he must have known that the temple with the crystal was there."
I haven't played the particular game that Tango is from, but still... robo kitty. :D"Yeah," says Peter, looking over the article. "From the location, this sounds like the same forest we went to yesterday. The article talks about an increase in monster activity both there and in Crystal Shores."
A great Mascot Mook.
Then I wanna go after him. We need to ssstop him, clearly, becausse he continuesss to be a menace.
Tell....everyone....
