Ashes brother from his adopted family was killed.

Ingrid had a fiance who she left in the Tragedy of Duscur.

Lorenz was in a school of Sorcery he had fo leave.

Annette was taken in by her uncle.

Felix brother died in the Tragedy of Duscur.

Petras father died.

Apparently the ROM has been leaked. Tread carefully if there are parts of the story you want to remain unspoiled on, just in case.

Sylvains brother was disinherited

Raphaels parents murdered by monsters.

Edelgard is Four Is Death as shes he fourth daughter. Fled the empire for Faerghus with her uncle before returning to the empire.

Ferdinand father gained power through the Insurrection of the Seven.

Mariannes adopted

Claudes birthplace is unknown. Grandson of Riegan via his mother.

Mercedes and her mother fled for an Eastern Kingdom church. Fate of her newborn brother unknown.

Caspar is the second born son of his House. Brother takes the title.

Dedue loses his family following the subjugation of Duscur.

Also apparently has a lot of food related lines. Probably starved as a child.

Dimitri was the sole survivor of the Tragedy of Duscur.

More Lore. Dagda is the southern continent and might also be pure rain forest.

Sounds like this cast is one large Dysfunction Junction.

Looks like he still remembers being the rolling wind and the rain falling upon the earth.

Mercedes brother is theorized to be the Flame Emperor as he ended their family sans her and their mom once he was old enough. Named Emile.

That Felix bit about Dimitri kind of reminds me of "Bestia" from The House in Fata Morgana. One can only hope Dimitri never reaches that level of bestial savagery...

I would've put Claude as a snake, simply because of his Dornish looks.

I think the Flame Emperor's identity is different depending on the route.

In Dimitri's it's Edelgard.

Hes call himself a Rat, so thats why.

Edelgard defeats Ferdinand in one strike and even talks smack about him trying to do things in more than one blow when he challenges her.

Also nice light/dark shot of Beleyh with crazy Dimitri.

Edelgad and Byleth hug as everything burns nearby.

Dimitri holds Byleths hand.

Okay so this purely from cutscenes that are lacking in dialogue but this is what I'm gathering the plots for the routes are from those.

Eagles: Edelgard vs. Church. Rhea and crests are evil.

Lions: Dimitri vs. Edelgard. Rhea is good.

Deer: Everyone vs. Nemesis. No idea what else happens.

Rhea is a dragon in all routes.

Those could be totally wrong but I'm pretty confident in Edelgard vs. Rhea and Claude vs. Nemesis.

Those that Slither in the Dark are taken out before the final climatic battle it seems.

And a guy resembling Nemesis is mentioned after beating them as an enemy for a chapter.

Hubert and Bernie have one, at least.

Monica kills Jeralt

Solon kills Kronya as expected l. Sends Byleth somehqere by using Kronya as sacrificial magic juice. Straight to Sothis.

After going Mint Byleth and returning Solon apparently looks in awe of what he's become rather than terrified like the trailers suggest.

The church gets fucking nuked in someone's roue. Also the Death Knight is still around after the timeskip.

As a side note, god would it kill Byleth to show anything resembling an emotion at any point in these cutscenes?

Looks like Jeralt and Thales aren't the same person after all.

Also, Rhea's a dragon.

Their whole thing is that they don't.

Its why they have nicknames as Ashen Human/Ghost/Demon.

Ashen Human doesn't make sense though.

I know and that doesn't make it any better. It's really damn creepy in a not good way.
