There's been a proper leak of an old internal trailer ahead of the actual trailer that's supposed to be coming out this month.

IT BEGINS.
Looking good. I'm probably the most curious about how magic will work. The usual Souls staples will be there I'm sure, but the magic weapon stuff looks really interesting, and you can briefly see an enemy using one too.
Looks less claustrophobic thanks to the open world format.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Definitely. I'm glad we're finally getting stuff from it. And a release date, too!
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Ah, so this does actually exist.
It's been 3000 years…Looks far more High Fantasy then A Song of Ice and Fire, but From Software doesn't do Low Fantasy... Has Martin written any High Fantasy? Anyways it looks awesome. I don't have a PS4/PS5 though. I'm happy with my Switch.

You can only write so much in your forum signature. It's not fair that I want to write a piece of writing yet it will cut me off in the midA Song of Ice and Fire (aka Game of Thrones the book series) initially starts off as low fantasy but then grows into high fantasy? Honestly not sure.

I love how everyone just immediately made fanart of the pot goblins.

And Miyazaki's no stranger to high fantasy of course.
It's been 3000 years…It will be interesting to see how the Souls-like RPG elements that FromSoft codified be applied to what appears to be an open-world environment.
I am personally still not sure that if it will fully land on its feet; tightly-designed levels really elevated these gameplay elements in my opinion and that might be lost in an open-world design.
Elden Ring's got a very "angelic-horror" vibe to it I feel. Like they took the looks of the Ringed City and expanded on it.

Character Specific Page cleanupIt kinda feels like the most Berserk Miyazaki has been lol

Character Specific Page cleanupWhat was the basis for this games mythology cause I remember hearing it’s based on Celtic Myth?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I'm confident we'll see the usual tightly-designed levels in self-contained areas (castles, dungeons, etc.). It's the space in-between them that will be the real test of the open world design.
Though I'm willing to bet that at least 1/4 of the map will be a swamp.

I wasn't sold until a dragon used a lightning bolt as a spear, but then I was very sold.
Bleye knows Sabers.I want to see more gameplay but I’m sold on the monster designs alone. Though I’ve never liked any of the Souls games... Can’t say I’m seeing the Martin influence on the writing too, but then it is just a short trailer.
