So I decided to check this game out...AND I LOVE IT!!! The spritework, the music, the animation, it's all very high quality looking to the point of seeming cinematic! The characters are incredibly engaging, and I want to help Verm on his quest to get back at the Yellow God! Needless to say, this got me hooked immediately and I hope that it becomes successful!
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests. The premise of Verm's quest for revenge is interesting to me, because it seems hollow in every way. He wants his tail back? Unless the Yellow God is a weirdo who likes keeping body parts around, Verm's tail is almost certainly rotting in a dump somewhere, of no use to anyone. Wants to get back at the Yellow God for killing his brother? Well, they were wearing coveralls concealing every distinct physical trait. What are the odds Verm will correctly identify the Yellow God he has a grudge against?
I'm curious about how this'll play out. Do the residents of Rodentia mistakenly believe that the Yellow God's suit is their skin? Will Verm and his crew attack a different exterminator, thinking they're the one who Verm encountered? Will the game go full Dramatic Irony, with none of the characters realizing the futility of their quest until near the end? Or will some of Verm's companions either already know or eventually find out that there are a lot of "Gods" who wear suits just like the one who wronged Verm? Will Verm's companions try to talk him out of his revenge quest? Is the Yellow God even going to be the principle villain of the game, or just the villain for the first one or two arcs?

Macron's notesSo the game has come out today. Anyone get a chance to play it?
I ended up playing it late last year and early this year, was a very fun adventure! I didnt expect the twists and turns the games presented, but it really brought me back to the days of reading Redwall books and featured a nice colorful cast. I do think the game is way too easy once you realize you can just beserk and slash everything in sight, but was invested through to the very end.
Same experience. Not a particularly deep or engaging game in terms of mechanics but it was entertaining enough and the story was a really fun ride.

If the rodents have a cardinal law, it is this: never attack a god. But Verm never had much respect for the rule of law. His tail was stolen by the Yellow God of Death, and now the mouse will have to fight all manner of beasts and titans on his quest to get it back.
This game is just my cup of tea. I love things that are cute but simultaneously kind of dark. The demo had some neat world building and a very memorable end sequence. The game pulls off Humans Are Cthulhu frighteningly well.
Unfortunately, I can't support the Kickstarter myself right now. Because the campaign is based in the UK, it will only accept certain credit cards. The dev said he's looking into making PayPal an option, though.
