Alright Kengan Ashura just got released today on Netflix. Only 13 episodes so it’s most likely another case of Netflix splitting a single 2 cour season in half & calling each cour a single season.
Somewhat over half-way through already & what bothers me most is that it’s a rather Compressed Adaptation. They wound up cutting a good deal of character introduction & interactions which is a shame cause it wound up introducing a boat-load of characters extremly suddenly with no build-up & the fact the interactions were actually all very charming which includes the deepening bond of the 2 main characters.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."- Isekai Cheat Magician Episode 4: I know that the white haired guy was up to no good. And what an intense battle between the heroes and the villains and one of them got fatally wounded until he gains the power from unknown godlike being to defeat the evil magician who uses the red beast. Also, that cliffhanger tho
- Maou-Sama Retry Episode 5 Today's episode: Is about the demon lord and Aku trying to rebuild a run-down village governed by the Holy Maiden. Though the demon lord does have a plan of his own to rebuild it because he wants to open both hospital and hot springs to gain more money. In the meantime, there is another holy maiden who arranges a meeting between some nobles and one of them is scummy af. Oh yeah, that holy maiden does care for her other brethren :P
I like how the 4th episodes of Fire Force and Okaasan Online almost have the exact same caption on Wakanim.◊
I stumbled across Do You Even Lift, Girl? anime.
Perfect timing, since I started to workout, focusing on weight cutting and upper body.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I heard Kengan Ashura shared a universe with that. Is there a cameo or two? Otherwise I have no interest in Dumbbell Girls.
Cameos of certain characters. Especially later down the road.
There's also a theory commonly believed the main protagonist might be the daughter of a character from Kengan Ashura to explain her unnatural strength.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Given is still good, and the soft rock vibe is especially pleasant in this episode. That this show doesn't forget to mention the… financial aspect of getting into an instrument makes it all the more relatable. X)
The drummer seems jealous, but I'm not sure if he's jealous of Akihiko or of Yayoi…
This is one mashup you never saw coming.
A rose by any other name would smell as sweet Unless I grew it. In that case, throw it in the trash.…I never knew I needed this in my life, but it's stuck in my head now.
...At first I didn't see what was the deal, but 30 seconds in I was like, holy shit.

@Titan Jump New episode delayed for 3 weeks to respect those who died from Kyo Ani fire
"Making screw-ups and mistakes was I ever really good at. Because everything I touch went to hell."Is there sensitive stuff in BEM, like in Fire Force?
So will the BEM episodes be released all in a row up to date once the wake is over?
- Isekai Cheat Magician Episode 5: So, the main villain aka boss of Cassim and Grami is shown and has grander plans to defeat the protagonists and causing some havoc. In the meantime, we know what's the secret power of the male MC as he is revealed to be the summoner. Also, he made some friends with the former assassin and now an innocent town will be attacked by a goblin invasion and ends in cliffhanger
- Maou Sama Retry Episode 6: New character shows up and it's the fat noble woman with smooth skin and the heroes plans to persuade her onto his side in order to gain a good reputation. In the meantime, the capital city got attacked by the satanist and the heroes manage to defeat them easily...Yeah
Given, episode 5 and 6. So Haruki really was in love with Akihiko… not that it was subtle exactly. What I didn't expect was for Aki to already have a bf he apparently didn't tell anyone about, let alone Yayoi. Meanwhile, Ritsuka is hit by a figurative truck as he learns something he maybe shouldn't have… but at least Mafuyu starts to express himself a little more I guess?
And I feel dumb for not noticing until now that the four protagonists' names referred to the four seasons − Ritsuka (summer), Mafuyu (winter), Haruki (spring), Akihiko (fall).
…You know, I kinda hate to say it but between the two "gay music anime" this season, I think I like this one more than Carole and Tuesday. It might be because it focuses on a style of music I'm more into, or maybe because it gets more deeply into the creative process (while C&T is more about the "music industry" side of things), or because the main characters don't feel like Pinball Protagonists… And it just has better direction and pacing overall.
- Isekai Cheat Magician Episode 6: Look ma! A Goblin Slayer reference. Anyways, the two magician twins are defeated (although it was more of their incompetence) and joined the heroes side and the heroes manage to defeat the hordes of goblins so yay!!!
- Maou Sama Retry Episode 7: Yea, two opponents that the Maou has to fight this time. One of them is tragic and one of them is a No-Nonsense Nemesis so that's all I have to say I guess...
- BEM Episode 4: After all the delay, the episode is finally aired. Anyways, todays episode is about the vampire trio vs the psycho electric monster. And that's about it.
Hmm, question, should the Netflix show Cannon Buster be talked about in this forum or in the Western Animation one…?
It's an anime so here.
I guess it's marketed as such… though a French-American-Japanese production is pretty unusual, and all three sides come out in the trailer.
Ōban Star-Racers were a French-Japanese production and many anime sites counts that as a real anime, not to mention that the Radiant anime from some seasons back were based on a French comic
Bumbleby is best ship. busy spending time on r/RWBY and r/anime. Unapologetic SocialistWhat is French about Cannon Busters?
Dunno, the character designs and lighting make me think of some modern Franco-Belgian comics or stuff produced by Ankama Studios… or hell, even the color pages of Radiant.
BEM Episode 3: Story focuses on the child vampire and the most apathetic and quiet one, Belo, he got a friend from the upper after he defeated him in Arcade but he's a bit smug. And yeah, most of the stories are about political assassinations and it was the ninja who did it. Sad that Belo's friendship didn't last long and he go to retreat to the sewer
