OK, here's where this thread is standing, with the unlocking:
Given the widespread backlash and complaining about certain aspects of the work (i.e. Dexit), we wanted to communicate very clearly what we are not willing to put up with: prolonged, circular complaining (or wonking).
Of course, with a controversial subject that has a large impact on the gameplay, Dexit is in one of those areas where there it may be on-topic to discuss it, but the nature of that discussion can wildly vary. As has been said elsewhere, we ix-nayed discussion of Dexit entirely because it never seemed to happen without devolving into that kind of complaining.
However, we're willing to unlock the thread after this 3-day cooldown period because the Pokemon General thread has been stable enough. And -
Can I discuss Dexit?
Yes. But if there is prolonged wonking on it, the thread just becomes an echo chamber of complaints and we do not like that. No one likes that. The same rules as ever apply. Be a constructive, healthy space. Have conversations about what you like, and what you don't like, but the thread should not get locked into a series of bitter complaints.
If you have questions or concerns about mod implementation or action, we have a thread for that here.
Alright? Thank you all for waiting this out. I hope we're all good now.

Assuming that Zacian and Zamazenta are part of a trio, I wonder what the third member would look like. A wolf with a crown, perhaps? Sword, Shield, and Crown has a nice ring to it.
Or maybe it's a horse-like wolf, so we have Sword, Shield, and Steed.
I'm personally hoping for a wolf based on a bow.
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.scepter. it's a magic wizard wolf
Ooh, I like that one.
I assure you, I'm a completely trustworthy person. The real question for the third is "is it a dragon?"
Considering the last 5 gens, the answer is probably yes

Silence is golden, noise is platinum. Keelah se'laiI'm thinking more along the lines of a dragon myself. Dragons are one of the more traditional opponents for knights, and it would be easy to shape one into an arrow. Though now that I'm thinking about it, that would likely have an awful lot of overlap with Rayquaza.

I prefer "Spear" because it starts with an "S", just like Sword and Shield, but by that logic, "Scepter" also fits.
Wait, what are the "Sword" and "Shield" supposed to mean?
"There are some stains you can never wash out." - Dex, Foodfight! If we do get a wolf dragon, there's a perfect theme for it:
I hope we get a wacky medieval dragon that's more like a chimera than anything Smaug-esque.
Secret SignatureI did once create a weapon for a sci-fantasy setting that was a miniature dragon that could be held like a firearm. It was called a Draggun.
That would be a perfect name if they decided to make "Pokemon Gun", though that would be an ill-advised decision.
"Any campaign world where an orc samurai can leap off a landcruiser to fight a herd of Bulbasaurs will always have my vote of confidence"Well, we already got Remoraid.
Just like GSC/HGSS there is no third legendary this go around.
Naw. The reveal trailer for the good boys heavily implied some third legendary, that was apparently an enemy to both of them.
But those still had Suicune as the third legendary. It just wasn't related to the initial two.
I can see them doing paired upper versions but with new forms of the first box mascots (instead of the third mon getting two new forms like Kyurem and Necrozma). Though given the obvious color theming, in this case I would expect there to be a "yellow" to go with the cyan and magenta, or possibly a black.
x2
Completely forgot about that.
Well yeah Suicune exist but if we're talking about trios it's not really in a trio with Lugia and Ho-Oh. That's what I meant when I said GSC/HGSS didn't have a third legendary.

I thought it was leaked by the Affleck leaker that the wolves aren't a trio.
What we know is that there's another, apparently evil legendary named Eternatus running around. Whether or not this has anything to do with the traditional third legendary is unclear (I personally doubt it, and expect Zazello to be the big star of Pokemon Staff)
What about meteodania? Or whatever its name is?
Does anyone else find it weird that we're getting longcat like a decade after it'd be relevant? And do you think the shiny will be tacgnol?
Yeah, doesn't even make sense from an Animation Lead Time perspectve, as the meme was dead before they developed the games
Silence is golden, noise is platinum. Keelah se'laiThat would be Alolan Meowth, if we're being honest.
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.
That Famitsu article also confirmed that the fewer reveals are deliberate to give players some surprise.
