There's also a Christmas issue called, yes, "A Christmas Carol."
We need a musical in the MCU.
You know what, make that Nextwave. After all, they've already got a song.

One thing I did like about the opening act with the Kree is how nicely it enhanced later scenes
Like, I found the reveal about who actually killed Mar Vell to be especially powerful when it mirrored the rescue mission in the opening act (with the sniper positioned and such), except Carol's in the position of the one being attacked.
And of course, the Talk To The Blast moment at the end wouldn't have been as satisfying without Yon Rogg's Establishing Character Moment where he not so subtly talks down Carol's abilities and strengths a lot during the sparring much.
I would be so on board for Avengers: The Musical!!! I mean, there are a lot of talented dancers and a few more than decent singers in the cast. And naturally Brie Larson knows exactly how to hold a tune.
At the very least they need to find a reason to have her sing in the next movie.
I freaking love musicals, so I would be very here for an MCU musical! Gosh that would be a blast to watch.
Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself.Honestly the idea almost makes too much sense.
This song needs more love.Musical is pretty much the only genre Marvel hasn't done a superhero genre bust with, come to think of it.
Unless you count Alan Menken writing Captain America's Show Stopping Number.
Speaking of which, nobody gives Capain America credit for being an accomplished actor. That should totally be a plot point in Endgame.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Would be a good genre for Dazzler
Forever liveblogging the AvengersWell, until we get something along the line, there is always this:
At the VERY last I want a dance number involving Hawkeye, Thor, Loki and Spider-Man at one point. Boy, those people can dance!
I suspect "Accomplished" is overstating it.
I can think of a lot of genres Marvel hasn't tackled yes, including Western, Sword and Sandal, Pirate movies, Spy movie, a proper crime drama. But if the do Dazzler, they totally should make it a Musical!

I will only accept the Shang Chi movie as a takeoff of the Wuxia genre.
If not Wuxia, then a modern gritty beatemup in the style of The Raid, with occasiona supernatural elements.
Either way they should get the fight choreographers from The Raid.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The Russos admitted to having watched films like the The Raid for Winter Soldier, and in Civil War they hired choreographers from John Wick for the airport fight scene and onward. That worked to their favor.
Still not sure what genre Captain Marvel fits in the best...
The alien cat genre.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."It's the Terminator 2 genre — '90s sci-fi film with humanist themes.
I'm not sure if I'd call it similar to Terminator 2 genre-wise, since that's predominantly more very dark sci fi, and is more focused on its grim social commentary and apocalyptic warnings.
The kind of movie this reminded me most of are those mid-late 80's stories about aliens / fantasy heroes / medieval knights / comic book characters / etc ending up in modern day Earth and getting assistance from plucky people - usually but not always kids - to save the day. It's arguably a far better take on the kind of genre that Thor tried to tackle, except with soft sci-fi instead of high fantasy.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. It's closer to Robocop than anything.
In Linkara's review of Captain Marvel, they compared it to She-Ra. No really.
The new She-Ra, or the old She-Ra? Because it's nowhere near gay enough to be compared to the new She-Ra.
The plot is pretty similar to the first three episodes of the She-Ra reboot. Girl adopted by evil forces, raised to believe a lie and her real power kept hidden, accidentally is left behind and starts uncovering the truth, befriends her former enemies, unlocks her capabilities, becomes a powerful rebel leader against her old faction, has a creepy evil mother figure who doted on her and a sparring teammate turned frenemy...

And theres an alien cat involved
New theme music also a boxYeah, I was think She-Ra as well.
Okay, when you put it like that, I can see it. Though "has a creepy evil mother figure who doted on her" is a bit of a stretch.
An issue of Captain Marvel was a Musical Episode no joke.
