Needs Help: The Fourth Wall Will Not Protect You

I suppose this has lost steam by now, but I'd like to mention that the image for Paddleball Shot currently has the same night vision issue.

My vote goes for Celeste as well.

I added two variants of Celeste to Sandbox.The Fourth Wall Will Not Protect You.

Getting the dev team to change the code for the overlapping is a pipedream. So consider what you see in the sandbox as the final result and cast your vote accordingly.

Pinkie Pie reaching her hoof over the caption is a big part of why the current works. If the image looking bad in night vision mode is that much of an issue, I'd rather leave the page imageless, at least for now. None of the suggestions have the same illustrative qualities.

Why not just fix the night vision issue with Pinkie Pie and be done with it then?

I'd support that, but the problem is that the caption text changes colors when switching in and out of night vision mode. Doing that would be problematic without the help of the devs.

We can have the overlap if we use grey text which is readable in both visions. See how it looks for the Pinkie Pie example on the sanbox.

But gray text would give away the joke for not being the proper text color.

You know, after looking at the Sandbox, I think that gray text is not that much of giveaway? The wrong font type is the bigger issue, but that's probably fixable.

Still going with the Celeste image.

I never expected the mods to actually implement new code, I said as much in my original post, so it makes no difference to me if it overlaps the text or not.

The Pinkie Pie pic still seems to be the most subtle about its "trick" on that page (the Celeste sugegstion's "caption" seems to take up too much space) so my vote goes there.

Added an alternate version of the captioned Celeste pic. I cut off the overhanging parts and uploaded that, then placed a caption on it, and used that to base the final image on.

Clock is set. Should we crowner this?
