-Honestly, it's weird seeing Leos like this. It wasn't weird at the time, but... now that she's herself again...-

"Let's get to one of the tables... You two can fight there."

-...Although...-

"...Aichi's not with you..."

-Is he all right? Is he just out trying to get more teammates or...-

Park (Missile)

'Guess Phoenix isn't here. Guess go to the park.' I arived at the park. 'Oh 2 hoomans.'

Park (PSYQZ Leos and Sthesia)

Yeah, let's!

No, he's not. I think he was busy with something, but I'm not worried. Aichi can take care of himself, right?

(Something about the way he said that seems off.)

Aperture Science Building, Outside — Quentin Beck

A white car pulls up in front of the science building on the outskirts of town. Its engine is cut before a man in a blue blazer opens the door and steps out of the car. Turning, he observes the building, tilting his head. "Well isn't that just quaint," he says before stepping around the car, walking towards the building's entrance. He balls his hand into a fist and bangs on the door, twice.

Bus

(His back stiffens as he peers his head out the window.)

My reasons can remain private... What exactly is our destination?

Aperture Science Building

(A white, sterile-looking camera swivels on its base to look the man over. A few seconds' silence, then...)

I Understand you're Probably wanting to Prove Your Legitimacy and Eagerness with Regard to this Transaction by Showing Up Two Minutes Early– and let Me just Say, We're Taking this Gesture Graciously, as it Beats the Hell out of Showing Up Late or being a No-Show– but that in Mind, do Pardon any Messes Yet to be Cleaned Up, Our Facility is still very much a Work in Progress.

(Sounds like some kind of politely sassy robot lady... Cool!)

(The metal door opens, revealing opulent white halls within.)

I'm sorry to bother you, AspenKarch, but Convoy and I were planning to do this session for a while. Convoy marked it as (RESERVED) in the first post as a sign that it's sort of meant to be more involved between certain players. Relevant to specific plotlines going on, events that certain characters are needed for, etc.

I can send another character your way, if you'd like. Please ask about hopping into a (RESERVED) session if you're interested in being involved.

-Misaki starts walking towards the picnic tables with the both Leos and Sthesia.-

-So... Aichi's busy?-

"Busy...? Gathering more 'teammates', right?"

-Although... with the way Leos said that...-

"...Are you sure he's all right?"

-Aichi can take care of himself, but at the same time she's a bit worried...-

-How he was back when she and Koata tried to talk to him...-

-A small, blue-haired boy is sitting by himself on a swing at a playground somewhat nearby!-◊

-He's just sorta swinging by himself, looking a little sad...-

-In fact, he seems a bit worried about something...-

Streets – Kloë Kinber

It took Kloë a little while to find her footing, but after a brief period of exploration and discreet spying on some of this place's inhabitants she soon realised that that Aichi kid hadn't been joking after all. Suddenly the situation felt a lot more dire, and most definitely not funny by any means.

But she didn't let it overwhelm her. The circumstances were beyond her understanding, so she didn't bother thinking about them. She focused instead on getting a proper read on her environment and the people. Regain a sense of knowledge and power. Maybe here where the diversity was through the roof, she'd have somewhat of a fresh start. Less judgement, greater ease in making... friends.

The word felt foreign to her, and wrong, so she amended it to ‘acquaintances’. Friends were tiresome, and complicated. Allies, colleagues, etc. were much better for her. Not as many obligations with them.

So she roamed around, letting her spinal limbs and greater mobility announce her presence to those she took interest in. It wasn't so much shyness as it was caution. If they reacted extremely to her mere existence, they weren't worth bothering with. If they reacted with suspicion but otherwise weren't provoked, she could prove them wrong. If they reached positively, then she felt afraid.

An outright positive reaction meant they had seen much worse. And those types of people that could still manage to smile despite that intimidated her beyond belief.

As of now, Kloë returned to the place where she had first found herself. Well, not exactly. She still scuttled across the side of a building, but it was a good distance away from where she'd arrived. It felt familiar to her in a way, so she often went back to it. Plus the verticality helped her overcome the bulkiness of prosthetics. The process of squeezing through doorways was always awkward for her.

The rhythmic, clanking sound of her spinal limbs crunching into the concrete of the building's walls was noticeably less harsh than before, but still clearly audible.

Yeah, of course he's fine! Why wouldn't he be?

Uhm, Leos?

(The alternate version of Misaki that originates from the Survivor AU of my friend's Vanguard multiverse (long story) sees the little chap swinging sadly.)

(She lowers herself down to Aichi's level so that she's paying full attention to the kid.)

-The battle begins, and Misaki stands next to the table, watching.-

-She looks at Sthesia, eyes expression determination.-

-Young Aichi snaps out of his thoughts, and looks up.-

"O-Oh, Misaki...!"

-He hasn't seen this version of her in a while, and he wasn't really expecting company so suddenly...-

"Um... I've been..."

-He awkwardly averts his eyes again, looking a bit nervous.-

-...Should he say anything? He doesn't want to trouble her or anyone else...-

-If Missile is interested, he can approach! Aichi hasn't noticed him yet, though.-

Quentin looks within, hands within his blazer pockets as he takes a step inside, looking around for anyone in particular, or an indication of where he's supposed to go.

(Quentin walks up to a seemingly blank white wall. A dead end...)

fwoosh–!

(Oh shit, or not? Some kinda funky human-size portal ringed by blue light opens up, revealing an office-looking room within. A tall, pale raven-haired woman waves at him through the portal, smirking from her seat at the head of a large boardroom table.)

Mister Beck, I presume?

Aperture — Quentin Beck

Beck nods before walking through the portal and into the boardroom. "Quite the clever illusion," he says, gesturing towards the portal. "If what I just saw was, indeed, an illusion."

Crystal go ahead and send a character my way. Please be an Ace Attorney character because I want someone to solve the mystery of the case that was at the police station's record room. I feal like the Ace Attorney character's will be good for Missile because Missile has worked with some of them before in the series and Missile does know some of the characters due to this.

'I hope someone will be able to help with the police station thing. That girl I met there... she said that I'll be a witness. Is that true? Doing me a confuse.' I notice someone coming towards me.

'Hopefully it's Phoenix or another lawyer.'

[A tall man in a rain coat walks along the park's paved path; and begins to set up a wooden stall. Slow, and methodically, as the table stands tall; and the chair is set up behind it.]

[Finally, the setup is complete as the man drapes a banner over the table, reading in large bold letters;]

SHALES CONSULTANCY FIRM

NEED A LAWYER? SEE THE MAN BEHIND THIS DESK.

[the man starts to sit down in the chair behind the table and banner, and although the hood shades his face, he clutches his hands together intently. Waiting patiently, for the first customer]

'Oh here's one.' I approached the desk and asked 'There's been an murder and robbery at the records room at the police station.'

Bus

“Like I said, meeting the Raiders. Marcus, this is it.”

-The bus stops outside an old, abandoned warehouse and the door opens-

“You first. And don’t overreact.”

Park

(Blast Hornet's in the park, relaxing after a long day of preaching to her followers. She notices Arthur's booth and approaches.)

Curious Query:> What services are you offering?

   (If one were to look nearby the warehouse, Slade's busy hauling around a set of mysterious canisters with the Clock King and the Mad Hatter for some reason.)

[The hood falls back to reveal... a talking skeleton lawyer]

I specialise in contracts, and consultancy on numerous legal issues.

Prosecution is my forte.

'Ummm, nevermind then.' I walked away from the skeleton and went to lay down in some grass away from him. 'Guess the skeleton won't do. He doesn't look like an lawyer anyways.'

I don't often do defence cases... but my prosecution does tend to be in the defence of others.

Blast Hornet - Park

(Blast Hornet goes into detail about her case. Apparently, there's now a bootleg religion in town based on Cthulhu. Blast Hornet fears that they'll cause potential followers to stray from the true faith. That's why she wants to sue them.)

Mmm... hmm... mm, hmmm...

[Slowly nods as he listens along, while he crosses his arms and rests a hand upon his chin]

So it's a defamation of your faith.

I'll need to visit these 'bootleggers' to get a handle over their materials, beliefs and et cetera.

I need to be prepared in case they claim to be following someone who isn't your cthulhu, but instead someone with the same name.

I'll also need some of your church's literature to compare.

(Blast Hornet hands Shales her bible. It's bigger than a doorstop.)

[He struggles to lift it off of the table, before putting it back down behind his table]

I'll put it in my office later to pour over.

I'm here mostly to advertise today, so there'll be no consultancy fee for now since this isn't my office.

After all, I need to figure out how much of my time this will take up.
