Meanwhile in chapter 5… again: our hero. Zero Two is quite intriguing, but Makima remains the scariest character in the series so far. There's just something… off about her.

Been thinking on something stupid:

I'm dreaming and have a feeling that the Big Bad of the manga would be the Queen of the Demons who will become one of the iconic characters of Shonen Jump history with a personality that is combined with Esdeath, Kumagawa, Westcott, Aizen, Junko Enoshima and Yuuki Terumi without the latter two insane personality. And said Big Bad would be liked due to her personality despite being Pure Evil and Evil Is Sexy written all over her and could compete with Aizen, Hisoka or any iconic Jump villain. But hey, that's just a dream and possibly won't happen but it would be nice if it happened in this manga but that depends if the manga can survive or not.

And yeah, the reason why I said that is probably because it would be nice if Denji ended up going against his principles because of the Big Bad haha

Chapter 6:

Aaaand Power lies about the cat that she owns called Nyako and it was revealed that she works with another devil called Bat and tricked Denji because why not? In the meantime, I have a bit of a red flag regarding Makima's higher ups.

Shame about the deception. I wonder if they'll try to redeem her at this point or she's a full antagonist now.

@damage Not sure but we'll see. Dont really mind Power becomes an antagonist either albeit its not a bit surprising

Huh… When you think about it, that story about her kidnapped cat was pretty stupid. Though if it goes the cliché route, there will be some truth to it and she'll join the… good guys? at the end of the arc.

I was also bugged by the mention of "Soviet hawks"… Does that mean the USSR still exists in that universe?

Well lets see how this goes.

Yeah, I'm curious about that mention. I don't recall anything in the series that otherwise firmly points to a certain time period. (Do they have cell phones? I don't remember whether they do or not.)

And GDI I flailed. Power is still a waifu, but I want her to stick around.
