I do wonder if the datamines that hinted at the DLC were done before Netherrealm actually secured the license for the guest characters. Might explain why Ash was ultimately excluded.
Though that would definitely land them in hot water cause i'm pretty sure you can't just write code about a third party you dont have permission to use.
Uni catIf they can fit like 5 gun users, they can fit an actual . Vampires do more than just suck blood.
That's why Skarlet is her biggest competitor, but you like said there's no real reason we can't have more than 1 blood soceror.

Last game we had like three characters with Telekinesis, why can't there be more than one blood-bender?
This game also has 2 ice characters. 3 if you count Cetrion.
Uni catThe last game had three hulking brutes, but none in this one. As a fan of those types of characters when it comes to fighting games, it bums me out a tad bit.
It's been 3000 years…Shao Kahn?
More seriously, they've never been my type of character. I like the fragile speedster type and Mileena gives that impression. But I do see the appeal of big characters' like Ferra/Tor.

Noticed a pattern: all modern M Ks have had at least 1 male ninja and 1 female ninja be DLC.
That's it. I don't know if that can hint at anything else, just a funny observation. Unless you don't count Tremor and Tanya as "ninjas" (granted, half of the ninjas aren't really ninjas)

Uni catI want li mei but I feel she shwing on in another DLC could be bad a this point.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"If I didn't know English wasn't your first language, unknowing, I would swear the use of shwing was a Freudian Slip.
Of course, that would also be assuming you're familiar with Wayne's World, and I have no way of knowing if that's true or not.
A clip from Wayne's World, for context

Ya know Mileena’s ending is pretty sweet, retcon of Kitana aside.
Power to change anything she wants & she still keeps her teeth as they are, meaning that she truly is at peace with how she looks.
Then there’s having her parents rule together, all of the heroes are still alive but they idolize her, raising a child together with Tanya, & having a child in the first place out of a desire for someone to unconditionally love her as she is.
It indicates that underneath all the psychopathy & cannibalism, all Mileena truly wants is a family.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Shame they went with Tanya as her love. Tanya is awful.
Whatever happened to Baraka/Mileena?
Or if that's Unfortunate Implications, Mileena and any of the other nicer demons like Nitara or Sareena.
(Sorry, Sareena—Sub Zero OG is just...awful)

Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.I fail to see how Tanya is anymore awful than anyone else that Mileena could be reasonably paired with. Pairing her with any of the heroes would open up unfortunate implications because they most assuredly would not be consenting to that relationship and even some of the nicer monsters like Nitara probably wouldn't want anything to do with her. At least it's been implied if not proven that Tanya does care for her for whatever reason.
Really? Because Tanya helped betray Mileena to her death, I thought.
Because Tanya's whole thing is Chronic Backstabbing Disorder.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters.Mileena's just as bad as Tanya, honestly, it's just people tend to forgive her more because she has the worst home life of pretty much every character.
It's been 3000 years…Well, did anyway. She's got two living parents who accept her for what she is now, even if they are Shao Kahn and Sindel
What are you talking about? Tanya never betrayed Mileena, that was D'Vorah.
Wasn't everyone betraying Mileena?
Kotal betrayed her too because he's a weasel.
Author of The Rules of Supervillainy, Cthulhu Armageddon, and United States of Monsters. You say "he's a weasel" like it isn't a necessary survival trait in Outworld.
Besides, he betrayed her because she was nuts and he preferred order.

Everyone except Tanya it seems.
Actually, to my surprise, there's more bad blood between Mileena & Baraka. In Deception, Mileena disguises herself as Kitana under the orders of Onaga, but she betrayed since she wanted to be the ruler of Edenia. Baraka eventually found & try to kill her.
In the Reboot/NRS Timeline Baraka is actually loyal to Mileena going as far as to suggest she should be the new Kahn after Shao's apparent death.
I seriously doubt that Tanya actually reciprocates Mileena's feelings. Her defining characteristics are being a survivor & an opportunist. Also, I was under the impression that Tanya knew about Rain's plans back in MK X but I didn't find any evidence that being the case.
That being said because she's a survivor & an opportunist Tanya probably saw Mileena as the best opportunity to secure some sort of position in her reign. So I can easily see her being a gold digger or you know, she just genuinely does love Mileena like her MK X dialogues suggest.
Could be a bit of both. She may truly love Mileena, but if it came down to Mileena or herself, she'd pick herself.
I'm finding myself drawing comparisons to MK11 Sindel.

There have never being a thing between the two ever, that is a fanon built in the fact they are the only tarkatas in the game, the best one can find is baraka offering mileena to be her queen in MKAR but that it.
About tanya...in MK 4 and MKD she was in deed a backstabbing bitch who was first with shinnok and them onaga, MKX kinda revinent that into being more a oportunist, is clear she belive in a free edenia and it seen she wasnt rich or powerfull like old canon(it seen her father soul is in ermac), so she move from being pure evil to more grey, meanwhile the backstabbing bitch trait was move to dvorah.
Pretty much, whatever tanya feelings about mileena she will pick survive first, she is more like kano except with being a creep.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"Don't Baraka and Mileena's endings in Deception have them actively out to kill one another?
I still don't get why Tri-Borg isn't in the game at all.
I would too, but the real problem would be how to make her stand out compare to a vampire. Also going against Nitara, her biggest problem would be Skarlet.
Thank you for clarifying.
