Well was Beast Man existing we don’t need subtropes for every type of animal in existence, just the most common ones like dogs, cats, lizards and such. But if you think you can gather a significant amount of examples and establish them as being different than say dogs in the way they are used in works and such, go for it.
And with the naming scheme, I am fine with it, some names just flow better than others. If it’s a big problem we can just add a few standardized redirects.

Update and good news, every wick that can be changed is changed. There are 19 wicks left, which link to locked pages or pages that say there's a wick but I can't for the life of me find it.

Ask for mod assistance in the Locked Pages thread. Note that if any of the locked pages are archive pages, those pages' wicks will have to stay.
Edit: I did it myself. I also posted a notice on the discussion page and turned Petting-Zoo People into a redirect for Beast Man.

What would be the best way to fix the page?
By the way, what (if any) criteria determines that a certain animal-person character gets its own subtrope? We don't have a Fox Man trope, and I'm noticing plenty of vulpine characters during cleanup.
Also, I feel like we should rename the subtropes for more consistency; right now we've got a -Folk, a -Man, and a -People ending.
