[up]From my own experient, i hate fighting Rathalos due to it mostly stay up in the sky and you can only carry so many flash bombs. Diabolos tent to be more predictable due to mostly stick to the ground.

E.T technically is a Isekai movie

World's crossover mission with the movie does note that the movie's Rathalos is abnormally large, for what it's worth. No idea if the movie implies the species is more dangerous than Black Diablos or if just the one is, though.

You are right that Diablos is considered a bigger threat than Rathalos! And while Rathalos in general are still threatening they tend to be the biggest victim of The Worf Effect when the games want to show off a new flagship.

Rathian and Rathatlos are some of the first mid-tier monsters you go after in World. Way tougher than the previous monsters, but small potatoes compared to any of the late-game monsters.

From what I've heard, the movie is mediocre, but also unlike what I initially believed. The military are not the superstars who manage to kill monsters, so just for that, I think I'll take a look.

I genuinely enjoyed it. First film I've enjoyed in quite a long time. I liked that it was quick to get to the action, I loved the fight scenes, and generally I didn't find any problems with the performances. My one issue is that the humor bits didn't really work.

Saw the film. It... Was better than I was told it would be.

The Language Barrier Jaa and Jovovich have to work through seemed weird to me (And is) but it does prove Jaa is likeable even when he's speaking gibberish.

What's with the electronic drone music though. Monster Hunter Has Music dammit and none of it is like that.

The monsters... Does this even count as a spoiler? Do people really care? Eh. The monsters making absolute fools of the modern military is something I appreciate.

On the other hand it's like... It's a movie that feels like fifteen important minutes where cut out when at the same time it could have easily shed fifteen minutes and been a leaner, sharper movie. These "Pandemic Period" movies all bear the scars of an editing room that shuffles things around uselessly just because they have too much time on their hands.
