As much as I enjoy Shaman King, the image doesn't seem to be an example of the trope. They're a pair of Expies but not directly called Ren & Stimpy.

Hmmm...I see the argument against the current but at the same time I think it works well enough to be a Keep Until Better Image Suggested case.

I don't see why they have to be named Ren and Stimpy to be a reference. I like the current.

Ren and Stimpy comparison pic doesn't need to be in grayscale; a pic from the show is fine.

There's always the simplest possible answer:

I think it should show Ren and Stimpy's entire bodies. That image is also pretty blurry.

Why is the Example As Thesis description make the trope look like a mistaken case of Woolseyism while the examples don't involve any translation?

I think that would work if the bottom half's blurriness is cleaned up.
