Thank you.
Akira Toriyama (April 5 1955 - March 1, 2024).I'm not normally that big into this game, but this came out on Youtube and I feel like it deserves to be posted here.
Basically the most hardcore anthem to The Guards Must Be Crazy I've ever heard. Granted, the only such anthem I've ever heard, but it goes way harder than it has any right to. Also, the sheer absurdity of what happens, ending with Tullius and Ulfric looking on in exasperation as both their armies just stop fighting and rock out.

I got an ich to start playing this game again!I'm currently fighting the hag at orphan rock
New theme music also a boxGod the early game is hell
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youI keep dying to spriggans because of their health draining ablity.
New theme music also a boxI still feel bad for giants when I have to kill them
New theme music also a boxI simply refuse to at this rate. Mammoths too.
If I need Grand Souls, I'll go look for a wild Dragon Priest
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youI only killed that one giant in the cave because I really wanted the loot and he was stopping me from leaving, other then that I try not to attack them
New theme music also a boxOh yeah, fair. I defend myself if I accidentally agro one, but I'm happy to leave them entirely alone if I can. I'm really delighted that the game GIVES me that option. Not many open world games really do.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youI prefer Black Soul Gems for enchanting anyway. Sure that's its own ethical quandary, but bandits are everywhere.
Disgusted, but not surprisedOnly problem is, without the "Gallows Hall" Creation Club content (included in the Anniversary Edition), Black Soul Gems are considerably harder to come by than Grand Soul Gems. Granted, there's also the Black Star, but then you have to trap and burn humanoid souls one by one rather than Soul Trap an entire dungeon's worth of bandits, vampires, Silver Hand, Stormcloaks, Thalmor, Markarthians, etc. before running home to craft enchanted gear with them.
Thankfully, with "Gallows Hall", you can convert Grand and Greater Soul Gems into Black Soul Gems via a profane ritual, for all of your evil, necromantic needs. True, the lightning attractors in Dawnguard also allow you to do so, but then you have to make a huge detour into the Soul Cairn and figure out where they are, and you spawn in hostile Bonemen and Wrathmen every single time you use one. The altar at Gallows Hall is much more convenient.
And the ethical quandary isn't that big a deal anyway. I'm already eating dragon souls to power myself up. So it's a little late to be worried about stealing souls of sapient beings for power.
Disgusted, but not surprisedSkyrim is also really bad at making you feel like your ethics actually matter, so I have very little issue with hitting up the occasional mammoth for an easy grand soul. That 100 Enchanting skill doesn't happen by itself, yah know.

XP gain from enchanting doesn't actually depend on the value of what you make. You're better off enchanting iron daggers with petty souls.
Worldbuilding is fun, writing is a choreYeah, I forgot. Been a while. Man, so many daggers.
Had one of my first skyrim crashes just now,it crashed so hard I could'nt even bring up task manger so I had to log out
I genuinely cursed the game when that happened.
skyrim not have the option to alt tab out of the game is a major pain years later
New theme music also a boxGah, leveled items annoy me so much... Going through a tough fight, earning something cool, just to realize it's going to be forever inferior because you got it too early...
I missed the part where that's my problem.Mods that increase unique item levels with you (or give you items to do it) are basically a necessity.
Is there really no way to hide the HUD on the PS4 for a sort of "photo mode"?

If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.I'm not sure if there is one for this though. The Dawnfang sword is a creation, isn't it?
I'll probably just reload an earlier save. I at least caught this one early so I won't be losing any real progress other than getting the sword itself.
I missed the part where that's my problem.Been playing the Honeystrand Meadery mod. Pairs well with the drunken dragon store mod you can produce your own alcohol, get passive income from sales, then sell the ones on the racks in your store. Portals of Skyrim means a quick way to get between the two without fast travelling.
Poor Narfi though, I think my increased about of time spend in Ivarstead meant a bear spawn near and killed him. Only found out about it from the inheritance letter. No body at his house and a bear lurking around.

My latest Trope page: Shapeshifting FailureI'm more surprised someone's still playing Oldrim in 2024, given that even the most recalcitrant Skyrim players are at the very least on SSE 1.5.97.
578 mods (counting inactive mods) and 395 ES Ps... I don't have a problem, I swear.
"Wait, it's IV. Of course they are. They'd make IV for Dreamcast." - Enlong, on yet another FFIV remakeIf there a way to transfer my saves to special edition? Got used to the high level character. Also, Don't fancy finding and installing every mod I would want for special edition, not sure if all of them even have a special edition version.
