So, quick question: Anyone else not find Yugiri slapping people funny? I ask cause I found a video for Saga Jihen and was reminded of it when Yugiri slaps Sakura again in it after Sakura just waved at her. It's not even that its slapstick since I tend to love that stuff. It's just Yugiri slapping people, mainly Sakura, that rubs me a bit wrong.

I imagine we'll see the joke evolve a bit more and give Yugiri more room to breathe in season 2, and she definitely needs it. I do like the concept - it's basically her only straight goofy point - but she does need more to work with.

I didn't think it was funny either, especially when it usually came when characters already came to the conclusion she was chastising them for "not reaching" yet. I wouldn't mind if it didn't come back for Revenge.
The only time I didn't think it worked was in the last episode, though I had a lot of problems with the last episode on first viewing. I just kind of have to admire her commitment to Get A Hold Of Yourself Man, even when the person in question already has. It is, admittedly, a pretty Japanese joke setup.
