Dragalia Lost

So I got bored enough of checking out what Fire Emblem Heroes was right and I'm kinda depressed from spotting all the oh so subtle ways mobile games try to make you invest money and time into the game Plus gameplay isn't exactly that fun though I do enjoy the barebones plot somewhat.

Why I'm posting this here? Mostly because I'm kinda asking how the other Nintendo published Gacha game compares. Both gameplay and plot and "Geez, you are really hard trying to make me play this daily, pull slot machine and buy that personally offered to you only cheap starterpack with good items"

Dragalia Lost is more generous on its worst day than Heroes on its best. Constant quality of life updates, including majorly overhauling the gacha to make it more fair to players, free summons constantly, promos where you can pick whatever adventurer you want, no merges needed for characters and dragons have items that can give them free merges...

Just for fun I came up with an idea for a Dragon; They are Birthday Surprise, a Wind Dragon (Though their overall color palette would not be wholly green) that is a giant Jack-in-the-Box with dragon wings, and their desire is to be an entertainer for children's birthday parties. What do you guys think?

ooh, i just realized that Sinoa makes a perfect teammate for Gala Sarisse.. i'm gonna level her up and use her. maybe even promote her.

Right now my fire team is: Sarisse, Ezelith, Sinoa, Veronica. I'm really sad that Ezelith is so bad, though

i might replace Ezelith with Mikoto. though that does require me to really level mikoto up.

edit: i just realized that i have literally every water adventurer in the game LMAO.

when you compare it to my wind adventurers it's depressing

Hiroki Matsuura is stepping down as the Director of Dragalia Lost. Yuji Okada (from BlazeGames) is taking over the role of Director of Dragalia Lost.

Huh. What does that mean exactly? I mean hopefully the Gacha will continue to be as (Relatively) generous as it always has been.

Speaking of which I burned through 4000+wyrmite trying to get any of the neat 5*s from this one and then randomly tossed one ticket in and got Natalie. Fate can be a strange mistress.

So we've got a quite a few new things coming in down the line soon and I'm not even going to try to cover everything in a single post. I will, however, point out that we have a free daily summon event coming down the line soon.

Fire facility, wooo! All we need now is a second fire, wind, and shadow facility to balance things out

I suddenly realize that I know very little about the women that have probably contributed the most to my Halidom's success.

I mean everyone's raking in adventurers by the dozen but without the smithing sisters we'd all be fighting will dull pieces of tin. And they just sort of show up in the background. They could be slotted into stories all over the place!

I feel bad for thinking them as discount gunsmith sisters but that's all I'm getting from them for now. Arctos is rad and has automatically become my highest priority for drawing.

Welp, time to say goodbye to all the Wyrmite they've been giving out and the fifty or so summon vouchers I had saved up.

I want everything.

Still saving for the next Gala. I might drop a ten if it hands me one.

Got Renee, Cerberus, and Natalie from four ten-summons

Renee is easily the best of the trio but sad I didn't get Arctos, oh well onto the event.

Threw everything I had at this banner. 6000 Wyrmite, 52 tickets.

Did not get Ramona or Rena.

Honestly I'm pretty disheartened. I've wanted the Blacksmith sisters since the game came out, and they look so awesome in action...

Got Renee and 150 Eldwater from my weekend pulls. Awww yeah.

I'm digging the bit of world-building they have for this event. I hope we get playable rokka soon. I'm amused that they dressed the troll up appropriately for this event, even if it's still functionally similar to most of the other trolls :x

I forgot to mention it, but the reason why I asked if it's been confirmed that the Greatwyrms can turn into humans is because I want to see the human forms of the other Greatwyrms.

Zodiark's would be pretty easy to guess, no?

The new main story chapter is out and Chelle is best royal sibling bar none, I will be very annoyed if she gets taken out before any of the others, who are all pretty bland.

Zodiark and Luca is going to make an interesting pair to focus on for the next chapter given that it was Elisanne/Brunhilda, Ranzal/Mercury, and Cleo/Jupiter for the last three.

I wonder if Chelle will be added to the Gacha as a Playable Character?

Given how the chapter ends, I'd say she has pretty good odds of getting in as a Gala Dragalia character but only after Leif and other Gala Alts get in.

I see that Euden learned his keen understanding of romance from his old teacher.

Malora: You're really attractive today, Euden.

Euden: Really? Did the smithing sisters add magnets to my armor?

Naveed: I want to jump your bones.

Euden: I guess we could create a obstacle course with all the materials we've picked up, sure.

Mym: I am literally pushing you onto your bed right now.

Euden: Alright, I'll get some rest! Geez.

Chelle: Leif, please have sex with me.

Leif: While church reform is direly needed, any discussion of new sects should wait until after the war.

I think Euden has some sense of Mym at least wanting to monopolize him, but, yeah, he definitely doesn't get why.

Honestly feel like Leif knows what Chelle wants but deliberately pretends otherwise, especially with an Noodle Incident that had left her feeling he hated her.
