I believe that's accurate. I've seen this come up on ATT before and don't have the threads handy, but adding information about leaked material to the wiki before the work's actual release is not permitted.
"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."So I wouldn't be overstepping if I removed leaked information on related pages?

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Much appreciated for the responses.

Comment out or remove the example until release.
"Jack, you have debauched my sloth."We don't permit speculative troping: that is, listing trope examples for things that might be in a work before they are actually known. Leaks count as speculation for this purpose. Official material, such as trailers and press releases, may be troped.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Thank you. Could a policy be added into the Administrivia section and elsewhere? Granted, not adding leaks is common sense, but there's always those that still do it without thinking/caring. Kind of a "preoccupied with whether or not they could that they didn't stop to think if they should" situation.

Primarily asking this because of the upcoming release of Devil May Cry 5, where two new video clips and several images from apparently a beta tester got leaked during PAX West 2018. One of the new characters, V, had part of their info leaked prior to E3 2018, and some additional details came out during PAX, prompting a new folder in the character page with details from the leaks. The closest response was from a thread back in 2011 titled "Do we have a policy for leaked material?", but there wasn't a follow-up: "So, if my understanding is correct, the answer is '"No. We don't post leaked material out of fear it could be taken out of context and common courtesy towards those who own the material."'"
Tokyo Game Show is coming up on September 19, and there's already that expectation of more leaks until the game's release.
