Super Smash Bros Ultimate (SPOILER Thread)

Mario- Let's-a Go!- One of the ones we knew about in length already. He fights some groups of fighters from various universes, the Koopalings, and finally Bowser who then turns into Giga Bowser.

Donkey Kong- Journey to New Donk City- I imagine his Classic Mode is just going to be a bunch of fights in cities, with the final one being in New Donk City against Mario.

Link- A Quest to Seal the Darkness- We know about this one. He fights a bunch of characters involved in darkness, such as Dark Samus, Ganondorf, and Dark Link, culminating in a final fight with Ganon.

Samus- Another Planet, Another Bounty- From what I've heard, she goes up against stand-ins for characters from her games, finishing off with Master Hand.

Yoshi- Jurassic Journey- His boss is Rathalos, so his theme is probably going to be a bunch of reptilian characters (like Bowser, Ridley, and K. Rool).

Kirby- Gourmet Clash- The first Classic Mode fight that we saw. He goes up against a bunch of gluttons, finishing in true Kirby fashion against Marx.

Fox- Spaceborne Smash- Pretty self-explanatory here: A bunch of aliens, finishing off with Master Hand.

Pikachu- I Choose You!- It fights a bunch of Pokemon, finishing off with Mewtwo before fighting Master Hand.

Luigi- Luigi's Nightmares- Since he's fighting Dracula as a boss, I imagine he's going to face off against a bunch of ghostly characters (the only one coming to mind being Pac-Man).

Ness- Home to Onett!- Basically, he goes backwards through his journey, ending up fighting Master Hand at the end.

Captain Falcon- Up Close and Personal- One of the ones we knew about in length already. He fights a bunch of close-ranged fighters (such as Incineroar and Roy) and finishes by fighting Bowser, who then turns into Giga Bowser.

Jigglypuff- All Original, All 64- She fights the other members of the original 12 on N64 stages, finishing things off with Master Hand for obvious reasons.

Peach- No Damsel in Distress- She's definitely going to go up against a bunch of bad guys with Giga Bowser as the finale.

Bowser- The Red One, Every Red One!- He literally sees red, going up against every character who's red by default, finishing up with a Metal Mario.

Ice Climbers- Duo for Days- Pretty simple to figure out, they fight two people per stage, finishing off with both Hands.

Sheik- Masquerade- I suppose she fights either people who transform or people who put on masks, if not both. Ganon seems like the obvious final boss pick.

Zelda- Wisdom Prevails- Maybe she fights against characters that are canonically extremely strong idiots, like Kirby? In any case, I think she fights Ganon too.

Dr. Mario- Colorful Treatment Plan- I'm guessing he fights characters that are red, blue, or yellow to match the Viruses. I have no idea who his boss would be, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was Master Hand.

Pichu- Lightweight Fracas- It goes against characters that are easy to launch, makes sense to me. The boss is probably Marx since he's probably the most light-weighted of the bosses.

Falco- Soar Above the Darkness- He seems like he'll go up against characters that are able to fly, whether it's wings (like the Pits and Charizard) or vehicles (like Olimar and Captain Falcon). Rathalos, Dracula, Marx or either one of the Hands are equally likely because they too can fly.

Marth- A Kingdom of Dragons- Like Yoshi, he seems like he'll also go up against a bunch of reptiles, going up against Rathalos as well.

Young Link- Hyrule Smash!- As the title implies, he's going to face off against a bunch of Zelda characters, finishing off with Ganon.

Ganondorf- Encroaching Darkness- The absolute opposite of Link's route, he goes up against characters involved in light, such as Palutena, Pikachu, and Link with Zelda. His final boss is probably going to be Marx, who's very much a Light Is Not Good entity.

Mewtwo- Psychic Control- This one's a pretty cool concept that I'd never be able to come up with on my own. All of its fights are team battles and whoever it beats first will be its next ally as it goes on. The final fight is against both Hands with either Pikachu, Pichu, Jigglypuff, or Lucario as an ally.

Roy- A Journey of Swords- He fights all the swordsmen, pretty self-explanatory. He fights Master Hand as the boss (though it totally should have been Ganon).

Mr. Game and Watch- A Long Legacy- I'm guessing as he goes on, he'll fight characters from newer and newer things, from Pac-Man all the way to Incineroar. His boss is Master Hand because honestly, I don't know who else would work.

Meta Knight- Both Sides of the Coin- He fights a bunch of fellow anti-heroes (Wolf and Dark Pit as a couple of examples). My guess is he'll either have a Stamina duel with Kirby as per tradition or a boss fight with Marx.

Pit- Fighting for the Goddess- Pit fights stand-ins for Kid Icarus characters (Ganondorf as Magnus, Bayonetta as Medusa, etc.) with the final fight being both Hands with Dark Pit as an ally.

Zero Suit Samus- Grapplers! Whips! Claws!- From what I'm gathering, she fights grapplers (such as Incineroar), whip-users (such as the Belmonts), and people with claws (such as Ridley and Giga Bowser).

Wario- I'm-a Gonna Win!- His seems like it'd be Mario's, but with a Wario twist to it, like every fight is a Coin Battle or some shit like that.

Snake- Weapons and Equipment OSP- He fights characters or is in a situation resembling Metal Gear things. His boss is of course Metal Gear—I mean Galleom.

Ike- The Black-Clad Warriors- He fights characters in black while fighting both Hands for some reason. (Ganon or Dracula would have fit better with the theme.)

Pokemon Trainer- The Future Champion- His is literally identical to Pikachu's in concept, just replace Pikachu with Pokemon Trainer.

Diddy Kong- Hey, Little Buddy!- That doesn't give me much information.

Lucas- Magic, Sacred Powers, and PSI!- His theme is going to be magic users (Robin primarily), sacred powers (Palutena, maybe Bayonetta), and PSI (Ness and Mewtwo). I'm guessing his boss will be Master Hand.

Sonic- At the Speed of Sound- He fights a bunch of Sonic references, finishing off with Master Hand.

Dedede- Royal Rumble- He fights a bunch of members of royalty. His final bosses are the two hands, probably because they're the kings of the Smash world.

Olimar- Planetary Explorer- His is going to be similar to Fox's, I feel, with Master Hand as the boss.

Lucario- Counter Encounters- He fights characters with counter attacks. As for who he fights, I have no clue on that one.

ROB- Unreadable Expressions- One of the ones we know about in length already. He fights masked or otherwise hard-to-read characters, culminating in a fight with similarly masked Galleom.

Toon Link- The Teamwork of Courage- I'm guessing his is going to be a bunch of team battles, culminating in a fight with Ganon while teamed up with Zelda.

Wolf- Reunited Roster- One of the ones we know about in length already. He fights other characters that were cut, fighting Galleom at the end.

Villager- Mistake to Underestimate- This is probably going to be the full realization of the "Villager is a psycho" memes, where he takes out people that he definitely should not be able to. Rathalos feels like the most appropriate fight to end things on in that case.

Mega Man- Variable Weapon Systems: Online!- I imagine he's going to fight six characters based off of the most popular Robo Masters and then he fights Galleom as a stand-in for a Wily mech.

Wii Fit Trainer- Aerobic Smash- This can go one of two ways. She either goes up against a bunch of other physically fit people or she goes up against a bunch of fat people. Either way, I think she'd also fight Rathalos.

Rosalina- One Star After Another- I'm thinking hers will involve fighting on stages where it's night-time. The boss would most likely be Master Hand because, well, Final Destination is in space.

Little Mac- Friendly Sparring- I'm guessing he'll fight a bunch of punchers in Stamina Mode with Donkey Kong as the final boss.

Greninja- Your Turn, Greninja!- ...This one is the worst one, no contest. At least give me some kind of hint.

Palutena- A Little Divine Intervention- It would probably be Pit's, but with her fighting with him. Instead of Dark Pit helping out against the Hands, it would be just her by herself.

Dark Pit- Created Warriors- Pretty much, he'd be fighting against characters that were not born naturally (such as Mega Man, ROB, and Mewtwo). His final boss would be Galleom to keep with that theme.

Pac-Man- Ageless Classic- His seems identical to Mr. Game and Watch.

Lucina- A Path of Heroes- Hers also seems pretty vague. I figure that she's going to fight a bunch of heroic characters, including her daddy and her ancestor. As for who she fights at the end, I think it would be Ganon but it would probably just be Master Hand.

Robin- Thunder and Flames- Theirs seems like every fight is going to be against someone with electricity and someone with fire (such as the Samuses, the 'chus and the Fire Starters, etc.). Since I think Marx is the only one who can do both of those, he'll be Robin's boss.

Shulk- Witness the Monado's Power- While I don't know what he'll be facing, my guess is it'll be a bunch of robots, like in Xenoblade. His boss is Master Hand, which makes spoilers of sense.

Bowser Jr.- Mama Peach, Where Are You?- I think he'd go through each of the Mushroom Kingdom stages, mistaking some female fighters for Peach. His final battle will probably be against a giant Peach.

Duck Hunt- Dog, Duck, Zapper- One of the ones we know about at length already. They fight animals or people in animal suits, finishing off the hunt with Rathalos.

Ryu- Seeking a Challenge- Sakurai showed this one off. He fights a bunch of Street Fighter stand-ins in Stamina Mode on Omega Stages. Dracula makes the most sense to me as a Street Fighter-esque final boss.

Cloud- A Ride? Not Interested- This is the weirdest one to me. He fights on vehicle stages (such as the Spirit Train). His boss is Master Hand, as an apparent Sephiroth reference.

Corrin- Between White and Black- They're probably going to fight characters that have both black and white costumes. Rathalos seems like a safe bet.

Bayonetta- Requiem of Fallen Wings- She fights a lot of angelic characters, finishing off Jubileus—I mean Giant Palutena.

Inkling- An Inkredible Journey- I'd be mad if the pun wasn't so good. While I don't know what they'll be facing, I know they'll fight Marx, who's probably a dead ringer for DJ Octavio.

Daisy- Sarasaland Represent!- Either something sporty or a repeat of Dedede's. Either way, I think Giga Bowser would be her final boss as well.

Ridley- It Can't Be! Space Pirates- Knowing Ridley, he's probably going to be invading happy-go-lucky places to burn them to the ground. Keeping with that, Rathalos would be a good final boss for him due to his arena being a peaceful meadow.

Simon- Smash-vania- I'm assuming he's going to fight a bunch of Castlevania references. He's definitely going to fight Dracula.

Richter- Smash Echoes- He'll be the one that fights all the Echo Fighters. Dracula's his boss because Castlevania.

Chrom- Fight as One- Probably another one where he fights a bunch of team battles. I'm not sure whether he'd pair up with Robin or Lucina for this. Like all other team Classic Modes, they'll fight both Hands.

Dark Samus- The Great Poison Given Form- This one is my absolute favorite. She teams up with a character's evil half to kick their ass. She fights Samus and Ridley as a free-for-all then fights Master Hand.

King K. Rool- Super Heavyweight Class- He fights heavyweights, pretty much the opposite of Pichu. Giga Bowser seems like the prime candidate for him as a final boss.

Isabelle- Best In Show- Sakurai showed us this one. All of her competitors are women. I think a cool final boss for her would be, instead of a Rathalos, she gets a Rathian.

Ken- Red-Hot Rivalry- I have a feeling that he'd fight some fellow rivals with Ryu at his side, finishing off strong with both Hands.

Incineroar- Burning Pro-Wrestling Spirit!- I think his will work like the end of the trailer suggested. He fights a bunch of boxers, with Giant Little Mac as the boss.
