A user had posted that these count as Internet Backdraft and were not Truth In Television, but is it really true? Or is this an example of Shoehorning?

They aren't Truth in Television in any general sense. People as a whole have proven to be more positive and altruistic than fiction would have us believe. Fiction thrive on conflict, while humanity thrives on cooperation.

They're only Truth in Television for very specific cases.

It's hard to say. Mainly because we haven't been invaded by condescending aliens, yet. And the fact that being an serial killer is kind of rare when you think about it.

Humans Are Bastards means "of humans and aliens, humans are the bastards of the bunch", so it can't be Truth in Television because we haven't got any aliens to compare ourselves to. At least, not yet.

We can be pretty awful, but I think if we were really as awful as Fiction tries to portray us, we'd have actually wiped ourselves out already.

All three of those tropes depend on comparing humans to some other sapient species, race, or group. As humans are the only sapient, language-using, history-writing species that we are aware of, they cannot apply to Real Life.

[up] I've seen tons of Humans Are Bastards examples in setting with no other sapient species. Should they all be cut?

Edit: Wait, wait. I was wrong. This is what comes from not doing the research myself.

Humans Are Bastards does not depend on there being other species to compare with. The other two do.

Humans Are Bastards is about a setting or general observation that humans are, well, bastards. Rather than being good by nature and led to evil through upbringing and circumstance, we're brutish and nasty by nature and only become good through intervention and prolonged conditioning. Moreover, in each of us lurks the seed of evil, waiting for the right spark to set it off.

It's still not appropriate for Truth in Television, as it is by definition a fictional trope, one applied as a deliberate narrative choice.
