Poor Image: Absurdly Sharp Claws

I know Scyther. Yes, that image is showing it cutting with its claws. But come on, Scyther's claws are designed not to functionally be what the typical "claws" are. They're essentially blades.

How about something that actually uses "normal" claws that are sharp? Here's some I capped.

All I see in the suggestions are visual effects and characters with claws, making them worse. The current, meanwhile, shows the "sharp" part pretty well, with something being cut cleanly.

So visual effects are a no-no? I'm actually looking for Felicia since clawing enemies is her repertoire.

We need something that actually shows the claws cutting; a fancy visual effect isn’t enough. Scyther isn’t a great example but it works well enough pending something more indicative.

True, my main bug about Scyther is that it's a bit disingenuous and only fits it via technicality, since his "claws" are just swords.

Would walls with scratch marks done by a character (with said character shown doing it) count enough for strength? I can find pics of those.

I agree that the suggestions are weakened by the fact that they rely on visual effects to show the 'sharpness' — it seems like they emphasize the fighting game move, not the claws. could work.

This◊ shows more impaling that cutting, but still shows and absurdily sharp claws seeing how easy cut through a human body.

That's not bad, but the overlap with Impaled with Extreme Prejudice is there...unsure ATM if I'd take it over the current.

This one I think works better. It's an slash and cuts through metal wings, leaving clear how absurdly sharp they are.

Yeah the first Sabertooth has the claws not so visible, but the second one works well. Even shows the trail!

I don't think that would look very good at wiki size.

Is there a previous frame or so that shows the moment? Would make a good sequence collage.

I know someone that has the DVDs of this series, so I'll be able to get higher-quality screencaps in a few days. For now, this was the highest-quality version I could find.
