Opened.
Works as well as a dialogue trope illustration does, I guess.
It’s a little texty, but the facial expressions sell it for me so I’ll give it a .
Works for me.
(Annoyed grunt)- You wanna start a thread for that, I'd suggest the first two panels of comic 97 , from Overcompensating.

Spiral out, keep going.^ - So, I have 5-ish votes for, and what sounds like 1 against, out of 6 responders... Close enough to consensus?

3 for Not Hyperbole and 8 (panels 1 & 2) for If I Had a Nickel..., yeah, that works.
So, do we even need a crowner to call this decided, or are we good to change images??

Okay, I've added the pic to If I Had a Nickel..., but I just realized that the suggested take is 2 panels of 3 so it's commented out for now. I don't necessarily think the second panel is necessary, but it does add to the joke, so I can take it or leave it. Thoughts?
Just the first panel and link to the strip in the caption. The current page quote already has a similar joke. Too much of it may give off the idea that the reality check is part of the trope.

Finally got around to making that change. Locking up.
It was previously agreed that the current picture for Not Hyperbole was actually more Literal Metaphor, but wasn't changed due to lack of a picture to replace it?
I've finally found what I think is a good Not Hyperbole example:
Professor Messasalma: ...Really?
Violetta: Oh yeah. I worked it out once.
