We decided, long ago, that the TV Tropes brand would not be associated with documentation of porn, pedo, or fetish material. We aren't walking that back, and we aren't going to "wink wink, nudge nudge" support the idea either.
It's not happening, full stop.
If you want to make your own site to talk about porn tropes, that's on you — we will not support it or link to it.

Well, someone already made an porn-friendly version of tvtropes a few years ago. But the problem is that they still have an certain set of standards, it's noticeably smaller than tvtropes, and I obviously can't list their name on here.
Have fun looking for it.

Random related remark: This wiki intends to eventually document every tropable work in existence (needless to say, a constantly growing list)...with some exceptions, like works that violate the content policy/P5 (discussed above) and a few other works deemed too controversial to cover like This Troper (see its listing on Permanent Red Link Club for details). Certain tropes unique to or associated with/commonly used by porn are among the few tropes we don't intend to eventually cover, for the same reason.

I'm going to be frank: the amount of variations, clichés, memetic errors, shorthands, fetishes, tropes etc. that are exclusive to erotic works and pornography is staggering. Someone needs to document this stuff objectively and critically, if only for education's sake.
So I'm suggesting that someone launch a sister site that documents, deconstructs, and assesses the real world validity of tropes used by porn with the same irreverent yet discerning style of TV Tropes.
I mean, people are always saying that people need to be both more porn literate (and lately porn critical), and I can't think of any existing community better suited to tackling the subject matter than this site right here. This stuff would be both invaluable and entertaining for people who are scared or confused by porn, sex and sexuality (like me).
If branding is an issue... I dunno, I suppose it could be hidden, link only, or even just uploaded under a different name altogether, but regardless I think it would be an honourable and worthy undertaking. You guys are more than ready for this!
