"Yes, I am indeed Alexa. You're... Sam, if I'm not mistaken." Alexa also smiled, this time genuinely feeling warmth in her heart. She wanted to cherish it forever, lest she lost it in the void
The robot girl noticed how Lucy was crying in the distance, an unknown person seemingly responsible for this. Sam did something to stop it. While it was too quick for human eyes, Automaton's new sight organs enabled her to see what kind of action Samuel committed. After analyzing it, she could only mutter "wow".
Steering her focus to Lucy, Alexa felt sorry for the poor girl... and she was happy. Alexa felt something, but she knew it was nothing to be happy about. "How can I be like this?" She wondered, and Alexa had only one answer:
"Because I am twisted."
"I'm sorry, Sam. I'll have to go." Automaton stood up and approached Lucy's table.

Sam was meditating on how to deal with all that happened, or at least trying to deal with the staff and his classmates from now on. While he was sure he could more or less deal with them without blowing up or building up walls, he was somewhat oblivious to what happens around him, so he was rather startled by Alexandra sitting in his table.
"Hello" He said somewhat bewildered. "Alexa, right?" He asked. Looking over his shoulder he saw a creepy guy apparently harassing Lucy.
Time to flex a bit of muscle He thought. He pretended to calm down and smiled at Alexa.
"Sorry about that, been a bit out of it today" He said, as a piece of ice sent fruit flying, and several others sent it flying around the cafeteria and disappearing so fast people would only see a flash of blue, before smashing it down directly on the guy's head.

Fear soon evolved into disgust at Elim's words, and Lucy had to fight the urge to throw up, the pounding in her skull certainly not helping her much.
Through her tears, she sent a glare of pure hatred at the boy. Not a single regret or concern of him being a human being was in her stare. She looked at him like he was this disgusting thing not even fit to live.
"Piss off," she spat vehemently, before cringing again at another spike of pain. "I-I refuse to stand with you."

Emil didn't even bother wiping it off. "Ohh! Spunky! Emil likes! Still, maybe just a bit too much spunk. That said, it looks like an impasse. You keep on denying what you are, and you keep holding yourself back. What's it gonna take to get you to let go?" Suddenly, he glared at Hei. "Oh, I know! KILL THE BOYTOY." He then morphed his arm into a lance of pure darkness, stretching it out and aiming it straight at Hei's chest.

Oliver looked over to the big scene, and decided if everyone else is getting involved, he should too. He hastily approached the table, holding a fork. Oliver converted energy to form a shield in front of the lance, and picked up the newcomer by the back of his shirt, like a mother cat, though lacking any of the warmth.

Lucy bit back a scream as the thing posing as a human lunged for Hei, drawing blood from her lips. Oliver's sudden block nearly elicited a cry of joy, but another seizure stifled it.
She began a steady crawl towards Hei, unknowing of her bag that was starting to levitate and vibrate as the ink jars inside bounced around violently.

That's it. An ice sucker was shoved into Elim's mouth, shattering teeth and gluing itself into his mouth.
A livid Sam got up, and walked to the guy. While he still acted calm, his eyes were as cold as glaciers.
"You really are a pain, you know?" He said, chillingly even "We're trying to have a normal day, and you come here to ruin it, so why don't you do yourself a favour and go back to your rat's nest?"

Hei had been feeling very out of his depth while Emil and Lucy were having their exchange. Lacking much context, Hei didn’t really know what to do other than glare at the other shadow-user.
Once Emil attacked him though? Things seemed much simpler.
Hei had begun to throw up a shadow wall to block the lance, but Oliver had taken care of the lance. So instead, he fell back on older instincts, and called up two shadow portals. Reaching into the darkness, Hei pulled out a collapsible baton and a pistol.
Extending the baton with a practiced flick, Hei pulled shadows from under his sleeves to surround the metal in the shape of a dagger.
“Allow me to return the favour, Pendejo” He growled, thrusting the shadow blade towards Emil’s sternum.

Unable to speak on account of Sam's sucker, Elim simply smiled. A lance of darkness erupted from his back, stabbing Olivier in the gut. The rest of his body followed suit, turning into darkness just as Hei tried to stab him in the chest. He melted down into the ground as he became nothing but a puddle of darkness, and slipped right under Hei. And as soon as he was in position, a giant spear of darkness emerged, poised to split Hei in two.

Cafeteria -> Nurse’s Office
Rebecca’s classmates were being attacked by an unknown enemy, and it just had to be in the cafeteria of all places. If she started fighting in here, she could contaminate the school’s food supply. But it was getting too bad for her to sit out. Someone could get seriously hurt. And then someone did.
“Oliver! Hang in there, I’ll go get Nurse Hello!”
He needed medical attention, ASAP! Rushing out of the cafeteria, Rebecca made a beeline for the Nurse’s Office and started pounding on the door. Hopefully she was in; she didn’t think Oliver could afford to wait long.

Hei simpliy growled when he saw Oliver get stabbed. But he had no time to help his classmate as Emil formed into a spear. Turning his lunge into a roll, Hei tumbled into a shadow gate, reappearing next to Lucy moments later.
“Someone get the students and Oliver out of here!” He ordered, calling on the shadows in the room to box Emil in. “And call the teachers!”
In a quieter voice, Hei spoke to Lucy. “Fuck, this guy is slippery. Any ideas?”

"What?" Alexa froze as soon as she heard it.
Once you find an opportunity, kill him. Give him no mercy. The voice in her head said again. It was everything that Alexa feared: cold and merciless killing machine.
"No, I can't do that. I came to this place to become a hero, not a murderer."
As if you cared about that. Think about it. By ridding him of this world, you benefit it. In fact, you can do that to all the villains of this world. As the wise man once said... One murders makes a villain, but millions - a hero.

No sooner had he spoken his piece to Liam than another attack happened. Always had to be in the cafeteria, didn't it? Scowling, Mikael pulled the knife from his boot and rose.
"Look sharp, Liam. We have a visitor. Looks like a shadow manipulator, like Hei."
And also like Hei, he appeared to have an interest in Lucy.
He saw one of his classmates - Oliver - fall, pierced by shadow. He focused on the anger swelling within him, and reached to his power. If this assailant wielded shadow, then he would need... licht."
Power flowed from within him and melded into the part of his aura that already resided in the knife. The blade glowed, ever so slightly, with light-based energy. Had he not known better, he'd almost think it was burning his hand. But he cast the thought from his mind, focusing instead on the perfect time to strike...
Now.
Just as the spears of darkness shot up, Mikael flung his knife at the intruding shadow-child with all his might. It flashed through the air, tip pointed directly at Emil as it flew, shining with power.
What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget?"Egh, fuck." Oliver dropped the boy, though, holding onto him would've proved fruitless, and hit the ground hard. This wasn't the first time he got stabbed in the gut, but that didn't stop it from hurting like hell. He propped himself up against a bench and gave the rest of the class a thumbs up and a weak smile.
"I'm fine, gimme five and I'll kick his ass again."
He almost tried getting up, but realized that that wasn't going to happen, and stayed in his spot.
"Go get 'em."

Ever was at Oliver's side lickety-split, wrapping her longer leaves around his wound.
"Stop trying to act cool big guy. You can have your five when you aren't standing in the crossfire."
Ever forced Oliver's arm around her shoulders and tried to get him to move. As she looked around, it was evident that this was not the place to have a fight. Too much for umbrakinetics like Emil and Hei to use, and too much potential collateral damage.
"Hei, he's after you! Draw him somewhere he can't do so much damage for pete's sake."
Argue everything you can argue. Doubt everything you believe. Ask every question you have. Argue, doubt and ask. Through this we learn.
Liam - Suddenly a Fight!
Liam had basically commenced eating instead of paying much mind to the offer on the subject of the watery dimension - he'd found vengeance to have left a hollow feeling inside, like, if he went after it much more, he'd exit the destruction of that water dimension a different man. He wanted justice, not endless, destructive revenge.
But then his silent consumption of his food was interrupted by the sounds of a fight.
He saw Oliver take a horrendous looking blow from a shadowy spear, and Liam was up, moving, cloaking himself in Regalia and going to help. "Time to cast a light in here!!"
Liam leaped into the way of the shadowy force, getting in the way and making use of Regalia's defensive abilities. He projected a tremendous barrier between him, Hei and the shadow child...and Regalia surged in force. It blasted right at the shadow child in a tremendous surge of burning - incinerating, destructive force in return for the attack aimed at its barrier.

Lucy resisted the urge to force herself up and attack-hug Hei in relief there and then, instead focusing on his words. She had to partially read his lips due to the spasms, but she nonetheless got the message.
"I-I don't k-know," she whispered hopelessly. "I d-don't know w-what he d-did... but there's s-something wrong w-with my h-head..."
She flinched again. Hei could see that despite her efforts not to break down, her eyes betrayed her. She was the most terrified she had been ever since she got here.
Despite this, she managed to muster one hell of a degrading look towards the shadowy form of Elim.
"But I won't give in to a thing like him."

His attack failed, Elim did his best to slip away without being hurt in the process. Ultimately, he was only able to partially achieve this. He was able to dodge the dagger and avoid the full brunt of the blast, but he was still singed, still hurt. Wounded, but still standing. Metaphorically, anyway. He grunted, but then smiled. A blade of darkness appeared overhead, slicing into a small part of the ceiling and causing it to fall towards our heroes' heads. All except Lucy. Or at least that was what he intended. Not that it stopped a small chunk from dropping onto her little noggin and knocking her out cold.

Lucy let out a shuddering gasp as the rubble struck her head, her vision blurring as she struggled to keep her consciousness.
She felt a vague wetness running down the back of her neck, and with her ears ringing, she touched it, looking at her hands to see them covered in her own blood.

She squeezed her eyes shut, attempting to pull her ink bag over only to let out a cry of pain as her head felt like it was about to split in half at the psychic strain. She almost went unconscious there and then.
But she refused. Still believing the wound was fatal, and with the thoughts of her friends in danger drowning out any sense of acceptance at the face of death, she refused.

Automaton Omega destroyed the debris with her blade and fists. Her face did not change its expression at all.
Alexa flew to her to check how much Lucy was injured. She was bleeding. Luckily, Rebecca went to get the Nurse to help the injured. There was nothing Automaton could do... except leave the enemy crippled and begging for mercy.
Her guns span and fired a barrage of bullets and plasma shots at the puddle of shadows.

The pounding was growing even more violent at the sight of Elim spewing blackish smoke from every orifice. Lucy was sobbing in terror, curling up into a ball as her skull rang with every slam of the presence against the proverbial walls of her subconscious.
"N-no... s-stop..." she cried brokenly.

"H-Hei..." she called out weakly, outstretching a hand towards the blurry image that resembled her friend.
