You heard it here, folks. Ice Queen/Princess is provably the most marketable character type.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.She was a princess and then she became a queen so Princess should go first.

“Honey, where is my princess dress?”
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain."I, uh, put it away."
Do we know when the movie is being pulled from theatres? At the end of this month is the physical release.
Also, I just realized: This movie has a black man playing a monkey. Isn't that racist? (Fred Armisen's skin isn't black, but apparently, he was black enough to play Barack Obama during his SNL days.)

Well, Seth Rogan plays Cranky's son, Donkey Kong.
Yes, but he's not black.
×3
Armisen is of Venezuelan, German and Korean descent.
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"Even if he was...it's not racist.
The only thing that makes stuff like that actually bad is Token-ism or only black people being cast as the Kongs.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.And everyone in Venezuela is at least partially black, which is why he played Obama on SNL.

I'm partially Mediterranean tho.
You can't kill art.I'm not sure what definition of black you are using here to get to that conclusion.
If this was live action movie, there'd probably be some choice words about casting minorities as the kongs. But voice acting doesn't get to that level.
And besides, both the singing and speaking voice of the cartoon DK were black.
Reminds me of that guy in the Spiderverse thread claiming an Indian to be black.
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.Reminds me of a series of fan art of "Disney animals as humans", where most characters were portrayed as the ethnicity of their geographic region - except for Kerchak, Kala and Terk, who looked like white people in traditional African garb, as I guess the artist was uncomfortable with turning gorillas into black people.
uh what?
New theme music also a boxSo, in a recent interview, the crispy rat ( Chris Pratt) effectively confirmed that the sequel is a thing, and we will be hearing about it soon-ish, after the current writers strike is resolved.
Absolutely unsurprising. I'll be looking forward to it.
It was a given, but it's good to hear confirmation.
You guys think they could draw from Super Mario Galaxy in the future movie?
well yeah, they already had a luma so content appearing from super mario Galaxy isn't impossible
New theme music also a box
This means that, discounting the CGI Lion King, all three of the most successful animated films feature a royal woman using ice powers. ;)
