I don't understand the difference between them. Why wouldn't they all be one big studio? Do they do different types of shows?
Aside from legal contracts with their brands' executives, Disney may want to pump out as much content as possible on all their platforms, streaming and linear.

"The devil's got all the good gear. What's God got? The Inspiral Carpets and nuns. Fuck that." - Liam GallagherBob Iger promises that the Fox branding will be kept intact for future films once the deal closes, which will happen "soon." He also says that Fox will still get to make R-rated fare, so that should at least ease some anxieties we have about the merger.
INB4, future 20th Century Fox movies will have the byline "A Disney Division" on them. (It'll be the closest to what The Simpsons came up with.)
That reminds me: anyone think Disney might push for a second Simpsons movie to happen already or not really?

Doubt it, since The Simpsons isn't the money maker it once was for Fox.
Power of Thor!I would love a Bob's Burgers movie, though.
There is already one in the works. I doubt that Disney will stop production.
Wow that's fast.
No more speculations. It's really happening!
Galactus, Silver Surfer, and Annihilus, here we come! (Nobody deny it, the former two were wasted and Fox didn't even try anything with the latter.)
(And X-Men go without saying.)
(And how could I forget Dr. Doom? All we would need then is a stinger in Avengers: Endgame showing Sokovia being rebuilt as Latveria.)

Earlier than Summer. Let the speculation begin.
Mileena MadnessRob Liefeld has nothing but hope for Deadpool's cinematic future.
TL;DR: Rob comments about how an illustration from the Los Angeles Times struck him in a "pinch me" sense. He has no clue what's going to happen, but he's taking a guess and thinks Deadpool's going to live on in both PG-13 Marvel team-up movies and his own R-Rated movies.
That would probably be ideal.
I still want a Spider-Man/Deadpool teamup movie.
Great...just in time before Brexit hit!
I kinda hope Brexit doesn't screw up the post-acquisition plans. They should've had lots of time to prepare for the no-deal scenario.

Mileena Madnesswho knows….
And Mexico has approved the merger, so everything should be a done-deal once March 20th rolls around.
The date is kind of fitting considering that Disney marches on and adds 20th century Fox into its ranks.
So remember how the creator of Fargo and Legion was making a movie on Doctor Doom, but its progress was put into question because of the Disney-Fox deal?
Kevin Feige asked him about it recently...
"Should I still be working on it?" Hawley replied. But no concrete answer was forthcoming.

I can imagine that Feige would at least read the script.
(sharp inhale)
That's...not great.
Did you link the wrong article?
Peace is the only battle worth waging.Although that article is about WarnerMedia, there is actually a bit about the Disney-Fox merger:
Edited by alliterator on Mar 13th 2019 at 7:44:39 AM
Former WB TV executive Craig Hunegs has been named President of Disney Television Studios post-merger close.
Disney TV Studios will comprise of 20th Century Fox Television, Fox 21, ABC Studios and ABC Signature. Assuming that none of the brands are absorbed into each other, expect a very contentious relationship between the four.
