I’d be down. Clayface is one of the best things about the show.
If Rebirth Clayface (at least for as long as they allowed his Heel–Face Turn to stick) hadn't been so amazing, I would agree this that this show is actually a better run at the character than he usually gets. He tends to get skimped on personality.
This is absolutely the best version of King Shark I've ever seen. I love the subversion of his usual "big dumb growly brute" persona he always gets.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. What is Rebirth's Clayface like?
It's been 3000 years…He was the latest of the "let's reimagine a villain as a human being trying genuinely to reform themselves and become better than they once were, then pull the rug out once people start to like it" plots that DC occasionally does with Batman's villains.
In his case, his powers were retconned to literally cause him to devolve into insanity (the way they were in The Batman, incidentally), and there was a big plotline devoted to either curing him or helping his use his powers safely. He became a member of the Batfamily for a surprisingly long time, bringing a big theme of redemption to that team's dynamics. He became close friends with Cassandra Cain, has a few individual stories, etc.
Then he got Status Quo Is God'ed. Yadda yadda they finally figure out how to fix him, yadda yadda someone sabotages it and he goes insane again, followed by Batwoman straight up killing him and getting kicked off the Batfamily as well.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. That was dumb, and what's so bad about keeping one good Clayface? There are like, eight of them. Sometimes, they overdo it with pointless misery.
Wake me up at your own risk.Ah the Victim Syndicate & all that nonsense.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Would it be rude to point out DC gutting their staff and their line of books after years of this?
Is there more than one Clayface running around? I ask because Quinn Clayface seems to be one of the few who isn’t showered in angst...he just does his damndest to act the angst out.

Otherwise known as "a colossal waste of time."
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Don't forget damaging like the effect it had on Stephanie Brown.
Man I hate storylines like the VS.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Looking back on it, it really bugs me how that series of arcs seemed tailor made to forcibly remove everything new about that line in order to make way for something more along the lines of the earlier Status Quo.
Between the Victim Syndicate suddenly targetting Clayface exclusively, Jacob Kane being retconned into kinda sorta being right all along, and the collision of the two subplots somehow creating a Bad Future, that set of stories got rid of Clayface, Batwoman, Tim Drake, and Spoiler, while Batwing and Azrael drifted away to their own stuff.
Well, okay. Super Sons is the best thing ever (or was, until DC ruined it), so it wasn't all bad, but still.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. That's sadly just how Comic trends when the writer knows they are about to pass a series off
"Putting the Toys back in the Toybox" where the writer seems to undo what largely his run has been building as a form of courtesy to the next writer giving them a blank slate
Unless the next writer asks to continue certain plot threads
Its why supporting casts are HARD to make nowadays cause the Next writer just jettisons characters
Its why Shawn's not around in Nightwing
Barbara changes roommates who she confides in
etc etc
I'm A Pervert not an Asshole! Finally started watching this! Three episodes in and it's already an absolute blast. I'll have more to say further in but know I'm having a good time.

I wonder why they couldn't confirm this at DC Fandome last weekend?
Maybe it only just got finalized.
I think that's it — there's been some behind-the-scenes shakeups with executives.
All of DC Universe's original programming is moving to HBO Max.

Here's an article talking about some of what's in store for season 3.
Basically, more Gordon, more of Ivy and her origins, and less focus on romance.
It's been 3000 years…...That sounds interesting, more character work is needed if there's to be no drama in the 'shipping...I think we're all due a break and it'll be nice to see a season roll by with a functional pairing
I'd prefer to have Kite Man, in whatever time they'll give him in season 3, dealing with (essentially) the main root of his insecurities - his parents. To have them as some sort of personal nemesis in S3, like it was with Two Face and Gordon in the first half of S2.

I'm kinda down with season three basically having a rotating protag, with Harley and Ivy basically being life coaches who suck at it.
I want the Gang of Harleys, actually. I'm not into the post-Dini and Timm Harley, and yet I still like them a whole lot.
Well she does need her own henchmen.
Especially since Psycho went rogue leaving King & Clayface as her only remaining workers.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I'd love to see Kite Man remain friends with Ivy even after everything. I'd also love to see Two-Face get another good ass-kicking, if not from Harley or Ivy then from Bane. I'd also also love to see Bane mend fences with Harley and co.

It could be a new one? There were already dozens of them. He could be Loony Fan of the original.
