True Tail- indie-animated series

I am surprised no one has done a thread on this series, because it's been around since 2013 with a trope page and everything. Though one word of note, this series had a revamp in July due to the fact that they wanted it to be more marketable after the creator's first version was rejected by Nickelodeon. It figures they really turn down another great series in front of them. It's directed by Zachary Zim, who did Double Rainboom a FIM fan film. I do have to say their first concept was pretty good on paper, and it would have made for an awesome High Fantasy adventure viva Avatar The Last Airbender. However, we all know how Nick handled their last action adventures with little to less care. Maybe if they can't get Nick to help them, then they could go onto Disney XD which seems to be the only place that is willing to accept more action related shows.

Well, it's quite a big thing apparently. Sucks that Nick is too chicken shit to make a good adventure series again.

Sadly, that's what sells better, but they'll still go on adventures, just now they have a Hub World of sorts.

Does it really? Do any of kids actually like schools?

They got a ton of really great fledging voice talent on this show too, like Chris Niosi.

Personally I also think the adventure thing would hav ebeen better, but hero school can be good too if it's done well (ie BNHA)

It looks like one of the new main added characters is a dog character, which is probably a Development Gag to the fact that Caleb was going to be a puppy. I hope eventually this thing gets off the ground, because I love fantasy action series,especially World Of Funny Animal ones. Also given that it is a world of anthropomorphic animals, it will be very popular with a certain demographic.

One thing as well, the name True Tail now refers to the school for heroes that the main characters are apart of.

^^Thing is though, even things that can be executed well gets tiresome if they are over used

I do hope this takes off. I'm just a bit miffed that Zachary Rich didn't pay his animators on the first pilot pitch.

I have been following them since.......... long ago. Was wondering when someone makes a thread here. For what purpose though, is a mystery.

But before it comes to anything animatedly tangible, it has been a blast observing the Hatedom the project has garnered.

Why, because it's a furry thing?

I mean, it looks innocent enough, so I think that'd be the only real reason it has a strong hatedom. IMO.

& Oh no, it goes like this:

• One of the 2 leads at Skynamic was responsible for Double Rainboom, and a very vocal hatedom made up of disappointed bronies hastily gathered, to follow Zachary everywhere and crap on everything he says and does online, ALL BECAUSE Double Rainboom dared to be a crossover, instead of an epic adventure (even though that was never promised). Basically, you make a fan film for free, and fans want to slit your throat because the story is not what they wanted.
• Those butthurt bronies then latch onto anything remotely controversial Zachary does, and spin it as him being Satan. A lot of choices made during True Tail's development can be looked at through a pessimist lens, and boy do those angry fans did that, and then some.

Personally I was ambivalent about Double Rainboom to begin with.

Oh, okay, that makes a bit more sense.

Pretty scummy honestly.

I think if it weren't for the internet, angry fans and trolls wouldn't cause near the amount of problems to creators as they do.

What happend to just liking stuff and moving on with our day?

Now that the internet is a thing no one forgets anything.

And don't you blame bronies for anything, the group is just so huge compared to other fandoms that a few bad apples become a few hundred. I am a brownie myself, so I'm kind of offended.

The said bad apples spoil the fun for creators and make us look bad. So having anything to do with the fandom makes "Nurmal persons" have something against us.

But this is about a reinvention of an action-adventure comedy in the vain of Ducktales, not MLP. Let's move on.
