Oh yeah, it's Nack not Nic. He's also called Fang the Sniper.
Issue 4 was fun.
This comic is really coming into its own.
- So we're definitely post-Forces now. I wasn't too clear on that. "Animal resistance" isn't exactly a new concept for Sonic. I figured the Wisp-ons might just be an adaption, but no, seven months after Forces, alright, makes sense.
- Alright, fine, the final Eggman robot of Forces showed upon the first page, sue me, it looks almost like every other giant Eggman death machine
- Okay, okay, Knuckles was the "general" of the Resistance, I should have put it together this was distinctly post-Forces, leave me alone
- In which case, it's cute how "Eggman vanished" after Forces
- Also, Tails got a whole lot braver
- Wait, so what happened to Crash Bandicoot the Hedgehog, the hero who rescued Sonic from Eggman? I want to know what happened to my OC dang it!
- Alright, fine, the final Eggman robot of Forces showed upon the first page, sue me, it looks almost like every other giant Eggman death machine
- If I haven't said it already the artwork in this gorgeous... and a little dizzying. I was having a hard time following Tangle's attacks.
- Tangle is a fun character.
- "The Sol Emeralds aren't chatty." - Blaze
- Did I mention Blaze is here!?
- Holy moly, looks like I was wrong about Eggman being the villain It's Eggman with a DIRTY JACKET, my stars and garters!.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Well that means It's not Eggman in the chair.
It's not DIRTY Eggman in the chair.
Heck, it's probably Eggman Classic.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!I say it's Eggrobo.
The Protomen enhanced my life.I kinda disappointed we still don't know who's the "chairman". I though that 4-parter will end on some meaningful reveal. Or at any plot development whatsoever.
So if Eggman is just hiding in some shack like some squatter, then the guy behind the chair commanding the Badniks can only be one truly evil mastermind SNIDELY ROBOTNIK!!!!!1!! Unless IDW can’t use Sat AM characters yet, then its probably Granny Goodness or somebody like that.

The Protomen enhanced my life. This has less to do with Sonic and more to do with our boi Ian Flynn, but remember how Ian tweeted a photo of himself at DC Comics with a #KnowingSmile hashtag?
We now know what the Knowing Smile is for.
Ian Flynn is one of the many writers for an upcoming Superman Special issue!!!
If Infinite were to return in the IDW comics, do you see him turning against Eggman?
Infinite seems like a one-game-only kinda villain (barring spinoffs), so I'm not sure. It probably depends on what happened to him after he disappeared.

The Protomen enhanced my life.Intersting what they have done here with Eggman.
Yeah. Though part of me thinks this is a retread from the Archie Sonic comics Flynn wrote which dealt with Dr. Robotnik losing a lot of his memories (and sanity) after a major battle with Sonic. However unlike that story it seems to be taking a more ambiguous approach with said memory loss base on the ending of the comic.
This is just me speaking for myself here, but I do hope they drag out the whole amnesia plot in this comic; the concept of a face turned Dr. Eggman is interesting and was a missed opportunity in the Archie comics.
Don't Judge me, need more views: https://www.deviantart.com/big-k-2011 | https://bigk1337.newgrounds.com/ | https://twitter.com/BigK64133I love how the ending of the last issue was a Brick Joke for The Reveal, that's actually great.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Man, it's a shame they'll undo all this, because I really like "Mr. Tinker".
I always liked the STC version of Robotnik where he was originally a scientist named "Kintobor" and on a few occasions, I think, he actually reverted back to his "good" personality. Mr. Tinker feels like an extension of that.
I also liked Sonic remembering how dangerous Eggman has been, flashing specifically back to ... actually, I don't remember what game the first panel was from. But they showed the ARK, Time Eater, and Dark Gaia afterward.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!That was Egg Viper from Sonic Adventure 1.
Namely his desperation taking you with him attack.
And the mysterious villain is Another Eggman?
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Yeah, weird...
Maybe it's Eggman Nega in disguise?
I thought robot decoy. For maximum heartstring pulling, Mr. Tinker's programming is actually copied from Eggman's good side, buried deep down. That's why he keeps mentioning Eggmanland.
Boom. There it is.
See? It's Eggman. I mean I've yet to read it but you're all saying it's him. Even when it's not Eggman it's Eggman!
