Walking Duchess

" Awesome! You wanna walk to town~?"

Uh... guys...

Junior notices Duchess' neck, notably that it's the size of a healthy redwood tree in its senior stages.

Do we have a leash?

"I mean, from how she immediately came back to us after we called her back to Earth? I think she's well behaved enough to go without a leash."

Knife motions to Duchess. "Come on, girl! Who's a good girl?! You are! Let's go for a walk."

Duchess giddily shakes her head, before walking off toward the city. As she sets forward, the creature immediately crushes a FedEx truck, before continuing on down the street, knocking over street-lamps and caving in fire hydrants.

A moment later, an angler fish in a mail uniform hops from a nearby front door, looking at his clipboard.

"Alright... first package of the day is done! Today'll be a good one!"

He looks up and sees the flattened remains of his truck. He sighs. "...Well, at least I set a new record..."

In the background, Ladro Sporco can be seen porch-pirating the package the angler fish left, before leaving to be in the B-Plot.

"Knife... That was extremely poor judgement."

They roll their eyes. "Shut up, Bee, I made a great decision. Now, let's go walk Duchess."

Knife takes a running start, before flying after Duchess. "Come on, girl! Let's head to the city."

Bee sighs and teleports closer to Duchess.

Duchess sees Knife and Bee appear to her side. Smiling ever the while, she turns to face them, sending her tail crashing through an office building. ^note This office building, the Roanoke Cable Company, was about to experience major cutbacks. It came as a piece of fate, perhaps, that Duchess' tail completely eradicated the 13th, 14th, 15th, and 16th floors. This would temporarily save the Cable Company, cutting down on electricity bills, though in the long run, no kaiju tail could save a business trapped within a dying industry.

"Hey Duchess! Look, wait up for us, okay," Knife says in midair, before petting Duchess on the top of her head.

A red flash appears next to Bee. "Have you seen Blue?"

Meanwhile, Chey and her group have the strangest feeling of being watched.

Duchess cutely huffs at the pat, at her size at least. To the Tropers' size, Duchess' huff became a practical hurricane in Knife and Bee's airspace.

Knife is blown away, and attempts to fly against the sudden gust of wind. "Hey! What was that for? Whatever; hey, Bee, are you dead?"

Queen Bee and Bee get blown back, but quickly get back to their feet.

"AHH! Monster"

"No, Queenie, no, that's just Duchess. She's some rich lady's pet, and we're petsitting her."

"Hmm... Rich lady, you say?"

"Yeah, rich lady. Hey, Bee, is that some other you from the vat you came out of?"

"Oh, I guess you haven't been introduced. Knife, this is Queen Bee. Queen Bee, Knife."

"Oh, hello. You're kinda... Intimidating."

(The writer of this post had a moment of confusion.)

"Man, this thief really wants to take our stuff!"

"Thanks. Now, where else are we gonna walk Duchess. Bring her to the park or something?"

(Meanwhile, Chey and the other thief-catchers arrive at the construction site.)
"Alright, y'all, shall we split up?"

"Yeah, I'll go... north, no, no, west. I'll go west. I love going on a journey to the west."

Meanwhile, up, Ladro peered down at the Tropers from his girder escape.

To his dismay however, a loose charcuterie board from the bag falls to the ground, spilling select cheeses, at the feet of the tropers.

“YOU COME HERE YOU FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT-“

Dookie is still chasing the theif, ignoring anything else he passes by...including Duchess.

Walking Duchess

"The park sounds good. What's the shortest route over there?"

"Ooh, cheese?" Zanreo says as she realizes... "Hey, looks like your bag's leaking! Would be a shame if it all fell out, hm?"

A group of three seals, somehow flying close to the ground, one holding a map, seemingly just wander out of nowhere, near the people walking Duchess.

"Hmm. I read in a book once that we're supposed to triangulate our position based on prominent landmarks. (glances down at map) Do any of you see a large mass of white lines? Sort of like noodles?"

"Hey, look, people! Maybe they've seen the noodles."

[to the group of people walking Duchess] "Hi! (trying to shake Duchess's "hand") So nice to meet you. I'm Harper, and these are my associates Harper and Harper. We've lost track of our friends on our way to the Shake Shack. Could you help us?"

Meanwhile, another pair of hovering seals emerge from an undisclosed location just as Dookie runs past them.

"Hey, that person is chasing that other person and shouting impolite words! Care to join them?"

"Eh, why not."

The two seals jet off after Dookie, happily yelling random obscenities at no one in particular while doing little twirls through the air.
