She lets her go, and walks out.

"Guys? Aaaah, nevermind."
(Ford goes over to Chey and hugs her.)
"Ford, did we get back home?"
"Yes, Chey. We did."
"What happened to me?"
"You fainted after we set up the medical bay. You've got severe stress."
"Smegging heck..."
"Can you promise me something?"
"Anything."
"When we get home, you go to bed and stay there for a day or two."
"...I can't keep that promise. What about them?"
(Chey gestures at the Tropers.)

Taco and Pullman walk out onto the observation area.

“Well, I hope you’re all happy. There goes my boyhood dream of being an oil baron.”

Hey Pops.

“Junior? What were you doing in the Upside Down?”

Living my life. Duh.

“Ah, I see. Well, I hope you’re all happy. There goes my boyhood dream of being an astronaut.”

Sir, I thought your dashed boyhood dream was being an oil baron.

“I can still be an astronaut? Wonderful! Pullman, quick, to the Space Program!”

Taco and Pullman rush away.

"You know," I say, gazing into the gem. Even though Tilly had been around for a while now, this was the only time I'd actually felt close to her. I look around at all our gathered friends; Libre and the Bobbit Worm, Taco and his daughter, Knife and her siblings, Chey and her family, and everyone in between; even m8, who secretly does care about us. Whether Tropers or NPCs, all of us had to work together to get where we are.

"Maybe the Strangest Thing..." I ponder aloud, as I gaze longingly into the sky, "was the friends we made along the way."

A can is thrown at After.

The Geeky trio also came to the observation area. "So, that was quite the trip," Katrina said. "We should go home and get some rest."

"Ow."

"You know what's stranger? We got this on the air without a court case with Netflix."

(Chey and Ford pull up to After on their motortrike. Chey was in a sidecar still holding Delilah. They were all wearing the proper safety equipment needed to ride a motorcycle and, since a baby was riding along with them, the radio was playing a child-friendly song.)
"Hey, last one to the apartment is a rotten egg!"
(The Chey Trike then goes off into the sunset.)

Hospital

A doctor shows up by the hospital room to summarize Libre's injuries and the solution to that.

"...There's the lost thumb. Atleast 55% of his throat got destroyed (more than just the voicebox). ...Some of his blood vessels ruptured...the least worst is somehow the giant scalpel impalement, which only hit skin. [sigh] Seems like the teen put himself in more harm screaming that loud than letting a finger get off his hand.

[frustrated sigh] Some individuals affiliated with a prosthetic company - more or less - helped us mend his more significant injuries. All the blood vessels are patched up, and those individuals helped with the throat and the thumb.

Hold on, I gotta vent.

I'm very freaking unsure that it's more suitable to give prototype prosthetics on less healthier patients; every human life is equally valuable, right? I DON'T THINK IT'S GOOD TO USE PROTOTYPES ON HIGHER-RISK SUBJECTS; THERE'D BE A GREATER CHANCE OF FAILURE IF YOU GO THAT WAY!!

Anyways, Libre now has a prosthetic thumb and a prosthetic throat. The synthetic voicebox in that new throat can- what. Permits him to amplify his vocal volume to...those levels that've likely wrecked his throat in the first place. SERIOUSLY!??"

The doctor leaves the hospital room out of frustration.

Libre tries out his new voicebox...

"custard,custard,custard,custard,   CUSTARD!!!   "

Some of the hospital staff immediately rush to Libre's hospital room out of concern.

"Sorry...getting used to this new voicebox...not gonna lie feels weird to sound more robotic than Custard..."

"Well, that was something" Custard sighs, "I'm gonna go into sleep mode for... uh, a while."

They roll back to the apartment, a bit scuffed up but not worse for wear. At least the lights stopped flickering...

The usual credits theme is replaced with this.

In the middle of the credits, we cut to an empty Tropesburg street in the dead of night. All is still and quiet. Until, that is, a giant glowing portal tears open in mid-air, humming with the energy of a faraway universe.

Out steps a fox-man in a gimmick hoodie who the audience haven't seen in person for a long while indeed. He surveys the city with a look of dry indifference.

"Yep, it's as shite as I remembered. Now, where was that apartment..."

He heads off down the street, humming a wandering, avant-garde melody to himself.

Season 8 Episode 3: Thrifty Thursday

It’s the 2021 Tropesburg World’s Fair! A Ferris Wheel looms over Main Street, and several new and innovative inventions line the streets within booths, separated by rows of port-a-potties.

In the midst of all this, a couple Tropers are walking through.

Knife is walking through the streets, remarking on the state of the booths. "Lackluster. Boring. I already have that in my house. I should have paid more attention to who we booke-is that a frat boy robot? I mean, I could do better, but woah."

"This is a mighty fine fair. Shame they didn't let me show off m8 as a science invention, because apparently they banned clones after some silver-haired person brought in a clone of God."

"That deadass looks like something Ted would've built. Except the Roomba would be substituted for an RC monster truck that said 'BIG DICK ENERGY' on the side."

I thought the God Clone was cool myself... I tell ya, we should’ve come up with an invention to put in this thing.

Knife laughs at the "big dick monster truck" Custard mentions, before overhearing Junior. "Yeah, I agree! We should put something of our own. Honestly, I think we could easily outshine any of these guys!"

"I tried to build something after my m8 plan didn't work out." Mad pulls out a large bazooka, patterned like a pineapple.

"Whaddaya think? They banned it for being 'too violent' or something."

"Uh..... what does it do? Turn everything you point it at into pineapples?"

"It shoots pineapples at people. Which explode. How I'd love to make more of these weapons... Ehehe, just in case."

BEHOOOLD, nature's truest miracle! A loudmouth calls. The amazing...Tetra-chromo-neo-photo-magraphic-lepra-choid!

Junior looks over to the loud-voiced man.

Ah, see, look at this! I bet this invention is nothing but a bunch of hooey.

He points at Junoir.
