So unless there’s outcry to remove Vic’s performance from the game, they’re likely to stay where they are. It most likely means that Broly Z won’t have any new lines for newcomers.

Not that he was getting new lines anyway.

He might’ve had something to say to Broly S, or perhaps some form of Kale.

I hope Old Broly at least has interactions with New Broly. In Japan it wouldn't be an issue at all so I bet that, if that happens, they'll just use the new VA.

They're not going to redub Broly's lines; that's way too expensive and just simply impractical. People just gonna have to live with that.

Turns out Chris Sabat has had replacement lines on hand for every line Vic Mignogna ever delivered, in preparation for the inevitable day he got blacklisted.

Given how much he was apparently hated, it honestly wouldn't surprise me lol. I can see all of them just having a merry old time celebrating his removal lol.

Man Vic must have done some awful shit to earn their tremendous ire.

Even if you don't believe the sexual allegations; basically everything everyone has said points to him being a colossal asshole and a prima donna. So if this has been going on for years and he has never made any attempt to change his behavior, then it's really not surprising to see his fellow VA's outing him the first chance they got.

Er, what's going on with the voice actors now? I feel like I missing something big...

Nah I'm not saying redub all of his lines just that if Old Broly does get new ones (like against future DLC characters), then they should use whatever VA Super Broly has.

Man is that gonna be jarring as Hell.

New Broly's sufficiently different enough from Old Broly that I'm not going to mind the different voices.

He's talking about Old Broly getting new lines with his new VA since his old lines are still in the game.

Yeah, it seems like there was constantly new evidence coming out against Vic, everyone had a story. Like that VA Director who was made very uncomfortable when Vic "joked" about how "the Greeks believed that no response is the same as consent" and how they were, in his eyes, totally right to do so.

Seriously it’s amazing how this shit just gets covered up for decades & is only now coming out in full-force.

What’s truly terrifying is that this could be the tip of the iceberg. Who knows what else is still kept under wraps.

@Known Unknown: That's probably not far from the truth, they do have understudies. They might have had a replacement ready .

By the sounds of it, it seems it's just one in particular.

I would laugh myself senseless if Aaron Dismuke becomes the voice of Nu-Broly.

Seeing Goku got new lines when Videl got in (and, with her, the Great Saiyaman, and therefore Masako Nozawa), when New!Broly gets in, expect old!Broly to get new lines, as Bin Shimada will be in the studio for that. As will be Nozawa, and Ryo Horikawa (for Gogeta). So expect new lines for Goku, Vegeta, Vegito and Broly.

That actually is a good point: Vic Mignogna getting fired won't really have any effect on if Old Broly gets new voice lines, since the people who determine that are the Japanese developers. They'll have to get a new voice actor for him, or else just leave the new lines untranslated.
