F is for Family

Hi im new to tv tropes, and i need help F is for Family as you may have noticed has a recap page now, well that was me. But I am having trouble with it. any suggestions?

This show kicks ass. New episodes in four days too!

Any thoughts on the second season that premiered a few days ago?

I can't seem to make the Recap pages for F Is for Family no matter what I do. I looked other Recap Pages and it looks like I did everything right, but still no link the titles are still red.. I NEED HELP!!!!!!

This show is fantastic. I'd compare it to King of the Hill in the sense that it's an adult family cartoon that's completely grounded in reality, but much bleaker and more serialized. I love it and I can't wait for season 3.

Well now I'm kinda curious. Am I the only person on the Western Animation sub-forum who watches this show?

I want to but for some reason I fear to watch it.

Well, I'll admit that this show does frequently abuse some common adult cartoon tropes (it has lots of profanity and sexual/toilet humor), although the writing is otherwise rather witty beneath all the crudeness. It's kind of a deconstruction of other adult animated sitcoms about dysfunctional families.

I dont mean that. I mean its too depressing.

Oh yeah it's one hell of a cynical show too, but then again that's to be expected from a black dramedy.

The hard part about the show is that it goes in waves, three episodes of things looking up (job security, better relationships, character growth) and then three episodes of getting worse. The shows format does make for a lot of great writing, because nothing gets shrugged off from a Time Skip and see the difficulty in keeping promises. Frank is a hard character to like, but you also tend to understand or at least pity him.

I know well by now that I'm the only person in this forum who seems to watch F is for Family (or at least the only one interested in discussing it), but anyways the final season is being released tomorrow on Thanksgiving.

I thought it was cancelled without an ending, glad to see I was wrong.

I'm guessing some people thought it was cancelled was because of the very long gaps between seasons. Take a look.

Dang,look at that gap between the seasons,no wonder people thought they were cancelled,there's almost a 3 year gap
