I must say, this is undeniably the most jam-packed story event of Granblue for now... Now we know where all the gacha money went.
- 9 Chapters x 4 Episodes + 5 Episodes for the Ending + Prologue = 42 Episodes!
- 3 unique Raid bosses + More Solo content for the Honors and Tokens + God's Reverie
- Can't count how many Visual Novel CGs are there but it's a lot
- The protag trio + Sandalphon + Katalina + Rackam + Eugen + Io + Rosetta + Ilsa + Charlotta + Cagliostro + Naoise + Albert + Lancelot + Olivia + Azazel + Halluel/Malluel/Sierokarte + Azrael/Israfel + 4 Primarchs + 3 Lucifaces + Beelzebub + Belial = 31 characters (unless my math is off)
- Plus pages worth of tropes used. I'm quite concerned about the sizes of the TV Tropes subpages of the game now. Especially on the main, YMMV Primals, Primal Beasts, Others, and Event Antagonists pages. These would be one step towards the "too-long page repair" warnings. But we'll get to the bridge when we get there... to possibly discuss on how to split the pages if needed
Now let's just wait on how the Western fandom reacts for the finale of this trilogy
P.S. Just wanna ask my fellow tropers. When do you include additional tropes (especially on lore-filled gacha games like this one, FEH and FGO)? Do you write everything first on a document to copy-paste later until you have more free time later? Or do you add it immediately the moment it pops up on the event, especially if you are playing it at the moment?
My style is the first one (write everything then copy-paste like a bulk edit of numerous tabs of TV Tropes pages), but I fear that it could cause numerous simultaneous page locks when other tropers are about to make edits. Especially now that I'm noticing an influx of additions to several Granblue TV Tropes pages at once thanks to this event.

With Great Power, Comes Great MotivationSome interesting meta stuff:
- An essay on Lucio, Sandalphon, Lucilius◊, and how it ties back into the question of what makes the skies blue.
- The actual Etemenanki might be the reason Marduk got a new gacha version
- Speculation on the Chess Motifs in that the Singularity is playing shogi which requires much more interaction with enemy pieces than simply taking them off the board in chess, which is why Belial and co. could not account for them.
- The god's story is a metatexual subtle leaning on Rage of Bahamut, or alternatively on a more galaxy brain approach is about how Cygames was formed after FFXIV 1.0 massively bombed.
- oh god this theory actually has a good chance of Lucio actually meaning LuciOrigin being true
- On a lighter note, THE SEVEN SAKURAI, playable Avatar and Lucilius to complete my set wen
- thanks lucio

I definitely got some winking from the "this world was created by someone with a vision and possessed of a grand will", yes. I didn't realized Cygames was literally formed by Squeenix defectors, though!
For context on that shogi tweet, the translation: "Belial's been preparing and playing chess for the past two thousand years, but the Singularity was playing shogi, so she could use the pieces she captured... Truly irregular. A being that turned the game on its head."
It's been fun.and Oh... so even the Japanese playerbase also took notice of the Chess Motifs trope in effect huh...
BTW, I added an entry on the Fridge tab explaining that Lucio's take on the Creation Myth also serves as a meta-reference/joke to Cygames, Rage of Bahamut, and Granblue Fantasy
Feel free to make changes though, as I think my edit was too wordy.
Edited by DanteVin on Mar 9th 2019 at 1:13:25 AM
With Great Power, Comes Great MotivationI've also made additions to the Creation Myth entry on the main page, though that might have turned too long and wordy as well...
With Great Power, Comes Great MotivationI thought both were fine and explained it perfectly.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Just remembered that the prologue has its own version of the myth when it got updated for the anime
Bahamut, ruler of creation through destruction, sought to refine the place the gods left into a richer, more bountiful place.
But the arrival of invaders from beyond the sky—the Astrals—brought an end to his plans.
Lucilius boss theme is titled Zero, so yeah the Kabbalah readings are pretty much dead on for this event.
Suzumura (voice of Sandalphon) interview, there is absolutely more Sandalphon content coming in the future.
Going through all of Lucio's story stuff in light of WMTSB 3
Between this and the laundry incident, Lucio confirmed to be good at trolling when he wants to.
And there's the fact that they didn't actually really even identify Beelzebub's identity, Lucio being super worried about the Crimson Horizon in his Fate Episodes, or the Otherworld trying to corrupt Lucio, so seems like future events will work towards that.
Edited by Nouct on Mar 8th 2019 at 2:49:09 AM
Otherworld also seeks Lyria and Vyrn too via corrupting others like Jeanne.
Also Olivia and the other Fallen Angels need to be free. The playable version is a projection. While Azazel needs to learn of Lucifers fate.

Wait what? ORACLES ARE HERE!?
Finally!
On a side note, should we make the Oracles subfolder now or wait until tomorrow? (Are they officially labeled as "Oracles" in the English version?)
Because I'm sure, there are plenty of Oracle-only tropes on the main TV Tropes page of Granblue and that page needs some trimming...
With Great Power, Comes Great MotivationNia and Aranan's deployed fields (like Flare or Blizzard) are local (they have the same diamond icon as local buffs and debuffs), and change the background!

Yes!
This song needs more love.Makes me wonder how they'll connect it to the Aqours one, since this would be the second time Muse has been to the GBF world(first time being offscreen).
Having the Muse seiyuu (hopefully) reunite to voice the event will be great.
Oh man. Cygames spoils us so much.
It's been fun.On the other hand, I thought I could get Nia by Day One of the update. But damn there's a 5* and a Tarot Card gated by Arcapoints to unlock their Fate Episode. Double Unlock trope is in effect once more
With Great Power, Comes Great MotivationHere's hoping Summer Yuel is in a similar vein to Summer Grea in terms of art...
It's been fun.tl;dr basically they all should be slotted as fifth or sixth party members because they all have special buffs that only activate when they go from the backrow to the frontline. also way better than the initial versions of the Eternals
- Maria Theresa's shtick is all about using dispels, also she has an even more specialized version of Justice's call by specifically targeting one character's HP and meter to applied to everyone else
- Caim: "fuck the specialty meta"; bonuses from any Bahamut/Ultima/Hollowsky/Cosmos weapon apply to him. His gimmick revolves around allies using skills.
- Nia's gimmick is being on a permanent countdown towards an instant ko, the more she helps her allies, the faster she dies.
- Estarriola is asleep and has special conditions for activating his skills when sleeping, after a number of turns, he wakes up and then goes back to sleep after using his Charge Attack.
- Fraux has a bunch of nukes to debuff the enemy and clear the party of their debuffs, notably can extend local debuffs (like the Devil's call yay synergy)
- Roberia's abilities are all linked a la the Levin Sisters and relies on carefully managing his mp stacks which are replenished every 3 turns by the Tower's AOE attack
- Geisenborger is a straight-up tank, relies on allies to buff him to extend his third defensive skill because it kills him when it expires, and his passive caps all dark damage to a limit of 10k (...will this work on Skyfall and similar attacks?)
- Hazelize like the Moon slowly has buffs become more powerful over time
- What Aranan's field actually does and how that helps the rest of his kit is oblique at the moment but he has the fire version of Light SSR Ferry's third skill and his passives mainly benefit healers
- Katzerira's gimmick is about meter and charge attacks.

The english translation twitter clarified some things that were a bit rushed in terms of translation.
Weapon tix is one of the 6 series shown
Jeanne's new skin will be obtained from the story event later this month
M2 changes, M1 impossible changes, and GO changes
Edited by strawberryflavored on Mar 9th 2019 at 6:16:49 AM
I really hope the weapon tix is free even if it's incredibly likely to be paid (I'm a bit confused over this because it doesn't really seem to say anything either way) because that means I can just skip endless Metatron grinding to get the one weapon he's never dropped for me.
Mukku Frenzy apparently just straight-up removes any R weapons and summons from 10-rolls in this mode. Also Cygames seems to have heard the complaints about 100-rolls because the roulette's guaranteed final 100 roll is now seperate from 100 rolls unlocked prior to the final day.
Edited by Nouct on Mar 9th 2019 at 3:28:01 AM
Oracles are indeed here. Can't believe how depressing Nier/Lovers' fate episodes (accessed from Death's FLB) are.
With Great Power, Comes Great Motivationwow I hope the oracles I actually want (Aranan, Caim, Hazelize) aren't as messed up as Nier or Loberia
title screen's been updated◊ apparently with the new artwork of Lucifer and Bahamut, there's probably some other new artwork
Traded my weapon ticket for Mittron's Bow, going to save the suptix to see what I get in the free rolls
Oops! I may have actually spoiled you on that, @Nouct, my mistake, haha! Anyway, who among the Oracles are you planning to get next, aside from the 3?
And by the way, do we have a character page for the Oracles yet? What are they officially called in English? Their fate episodes from the Arcarum FLB Shop make them so, so fleshed-out in characterization and tropes from the get-go, unlike the Eternals.
And yeah, a lot of Westerners correctly guessed that Nier is a Yandere.

Oh my god, this is the real good shit. It's JRPG as hell and I am here for that.
Edit: I will second you on feeling a tiny bit weird about Az and Is surviving... like, it's really weird hearing Az's adorable voice from the burlap horror sack. Maybe they'll give them a redesign at some point.
