Speaking of Death, i personally just think he's just a very powerful and old demon that inspired the grim reaper but isn't actually a grim reaper. Since he's one of Dracula's minions who's truly loyal as the games state so he's probably the one who's going to revive Dracula this time while using Isaac as a pawn.(granted this Isaac is bound to be more willing to be a host)
@ Windleopard. No i'm pretty sure Netflix Isaac outright stated he likes men. That scene with his abusive master being the one, and i'm sure he makes a couple of passes at Hector.

I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. He said he loved his master. You could interpret it as non-romantic love but given Isaac's videogame counterpart, people are more inclined to believe Isaac is gay.
My guess is that Isaac will go through something this season that increases his powers/changes his appearance to make him more similar to Death from the games.

He got the baldness down pat, at least.
He wanted to kiss Hector. It was expressed in a way that could be read as Platonic Kissing with wiggle room due to their camaraderie but again, given what the character was like in the original game and how serious he was about it in his scene, he probably does feel genuine attraction to Hector and is just awkward about expressing it due to his traumatic past.

I dunno, I got the impression he was just being sarcastic and unimpressed with Hector's whole speech.
In the games it seems like Death isn't a demon, but is instead a divine being. Leon outright addresses him as such in LOI.
Death might very well be the Angel of Death.

Disgusted, but not surprisedWhich one?
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. Not Abaddon, since Abaddon is a different enemy in the Castlevania series. Maybe Azrael or Samael.
Disgusted, but not surprisedSo I finally watched the 2nd season. It was definitely better than the last season but I felt the latest season focus too much on the heroes at the Belmont Library and the court politics between Dracula's Generals rather than moving the plot forward. Can't wait for the 3rd season.
However, I worried about what Adi Shankar said in this article.
According to Shankar, he's now working on a new Devil May Cry animated series and not only that, both this new series and Castlevania are part of the same universe?
First of all, does he have the rights to do this crossover since Castlevania and Dmc are owned by different game companies who might not like it if they feel their franchise doesn't get enough spotlight or Shankar made one of their heroes look weak. Not only that, they don't share the same history and Earth with the former taking places mostly in the Middle Ages to pre-20th century and has the same history as our world while the latter is an alternative history where demons tried to conquer the world but were beaten by one of their Generals who had a Heel–Face Turn and defended humanity where it's version of the Church worship said Demon General as a Saint and most of the settings take place in the modern era with Dmc 5 taking place in an expy of London.
Furthermore, both series have different tones with the former being Gothic Horror Adventure while the latter is Cool, Action game with snarky heroes. Add to the fact he mentions a "bootleg multiverse", I'm starting to think this isn't an official crossover and more like a fan made project like Shankar's other fans works like his Darker Power Rangers fan film and the mini Judge Dredd cartoon.
Considering one is owned by Capcom and the other Konami, I imagine he’s going to be told to knock it off before production proper starts by the lawyers.
Multiverse, not the same universe. That doesn't necessarily mean they'll have anything to do with each other. It's just kind of a cute term he came up with since he's working on both and they may have stylistic similarities.
So, anyone else watch The Witcher Netflix series?
I bring it up, because if anyone else enjoyed this, it might just scratch that...wandering monster hunter with an encyclopedic knowledge of monsters, strange destiny, snarky magic using Love Interest, and bad publicity which lead to an argument in a bar in the second episode...itch.
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerI have, yes. Monsters do play a significant role in it, even i they're secondary to the actual plot.
Nah, they play a role in the main plot too. Do not forget that the steel sword used against humans is also for monsters.
Disgusted, but not surprisedI don't understand why the silver sword can't just pull double duty and be used on both.
It can and does in one of the games. Steel swords are simply better for that purpose.
My point anyway was that Geralt thinks that humans can be just as monstrous as any supernatural foe.

Disgusted, but not surprisedAnd he's rarely proven wrong either.
One Strip! One Strip! Both are for monsters, as Geralt says.
Evil is Evil.
One of his best quotes eva.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Humans are probably worse.
Monsters are what they are due to nature.
Humans choose to do what they do...or at least that's the logic behind why Humans Are the Real Monsters.
At the very least, I get the feeling Geralt doesn't care for humans and is more sympathetic to the other races and creatures in the world with a few exceptions here and there.
One Strip! One Strip!Probably because of the implication that the other races are being overtaken by humanity. Their time is reaching its twilight. Much like the Witchers themselves.
Disgusted, but not surprisedSo could Geralt sub for a Belmont? Could Geralt kill Dracula?
No. Defeating a full powered Dracula in the Castlevania verse pretty much always requires either the Vampire Killer or Drac's own power in some form.
Doesn't matter how badass you are — if you don't have one of the only things that can actually put Dracula down, you're fucked.
Keep in mind Dracula in Castlevania isn't just a vampire. He's also a godlike nexus of dark power created from the souls gathered in his Crimson Stone.
Geralt probably could kill any other vampire in the Castlevania verse that isn't armed with haxx alchemy rocks. Heck, Isaac killed Goldbrand with a belt.

Disgusted, but not surprisedIsaac is really good at using it though.
I guess you'd count Hector and Alucard as using Dracula's own power? What about Carrie and Maria?
I haven't really seen Geralt do much in his own series. I did rock him in Soulcalibur though. Get the feeling he'd get along with the Belmonts just fine.

Netflix confirmed that the tweet was incorrect, Castlevania is not coming December 1 anywhere. Actual date is pending.
