Waiting for a few more people to post before I put another main thread post up but if you guys don't get around to it or don't really have anything to post yet, I'll put one up sometime this evening.
"You're an enemy of art and I pity your ignorance" - Domingo Montoya Help save the rainforest for free simply by going to Ecosia.org.Triple post but I have a few announcements to make. First off, you may have noticed that the second post of this discussion thread has been updated to reflect the current objectives of this mission. For most missions you guys will do, there will be a primary objective and a secondary objective(s). There is a reward for completing each of them. For completing the primary objective, the reward is the same for each mission - you all get paid and get to use your newfound wealth to go on a spending/bartering spree at the Alliance store/a galactic swapmeet/whatever group of merchants I decide to throw your way after the mission.
The secondary objectives' rewards will be different than credits but it will benefit the group in some way. Each secondary objective has a different reward and you will only find out what each one is after the mission is over. Also, if you complete all objectives for a mission, another (smaller) reward will be added. If you fail a secondary objective, nothing happens except you don't get the reward associated with it. However, if you fail a primary objective, you will not get paid but you will also suffer a consequence in-game. This punishment won't kill any characters or send your characters to the spice mines of Kessel but it will be a punishment nonetheless - for some of your characters at any rate .
Also, I realize that my latest post in the Game thread hasn't given you guys a lot to post about, short of asking General McQuarrie more questions, communicating amongst yourselves, or heading to the hangar and that's mainly because I realize that since it's almost New Year's Eve, things'll probably be slowish till at least the day after tomorrow. I don't know when exactly my next post will be in the main thread but at the earliest it'll be tomorrow evening and, at the latest, on the early afternoon of New Year's Day. I'll be popping my head in here and on Skype until then so let me know if you have any questions/suggestions/puns about Rancors or whatever.
"You're an enemy of art and I pity your ignorance" - Domingo Montoya Help save the rainforest for free simply by going to Ecosia.org.Rancor? I hardly know 'or!
One other announcement, Nman's character and only Nman's character will come face to face with a rancor solely because of that pun we all just witnessed .
"You're an enemy of art and I pity your ignorance" - Domingo Montoya Help save the rainforest for free simply by going to Ecosia.org.You did, literally, ask for it.
Just saying.
I wholeheartedly approve, though. It will be funny.
All are significantly abnormal in a normal world... All are significantly normal in an abnormal world.Should I report to the Empire now, or wait to after the mission? Also, on a completely random note, do they have bathrooms in Star Wars? I don't remember them ever being mentioned.
Refreshers are the Star Wars equivalent of bathrooms. And, yes, I did just have to go and look that up just now . I would assume most ships larger than a starfighter have one onboard.
As to reporting, you can do it now if you'd like. Whenever you do report, I'll put up a section of my next main post of your Imperial commanding officer. We never really discussed what branch,, if any, of Imperial Intelligence your character was in but I found this to be a cool read.
"You're an enemy of art and I pity your ignorance" - Domingo Montoya Help save the rainforest for free simply by going to Ecosia.org.That 'infiltration' thing fits perfectly for what I had in mind.
Insert obligatory joke about turtles not existing in Star Wars universe here
Random question: is the Imperial accent still basically RP as per SW:ToR?
All are significantly abnormal in a normal world... All are significantly normal in an abnormal world. And, if you mean are Imperial accents British, that's kind of what I was assuming for the majority of officers, yes.
"You're an enemy of art and I pity your ignorance" - Domingo Montoya Help save the rainforest for free simply by going to Ecosia.org.I stand corrected.
All are significantly abnormal in a normal world... All are significantly normal in an abnormal world.Okay, I'm still waiting on a number of people to post but, if no one has by this evening, I'll put up a main thread post to help move things along.
"You're an enemy of art and I pity your ignorance" - Domingo Montoya Help save the rainforest for free simply by going to Ecosia.org.I'm considering joining the game but I don't know what kind of roles are missing here.
I do know I want to play a more "goody-goody" character than a scoundrel.
I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.Well, role redundancy is just fine. Just to give you some ideas though, we could use another pilot or maybe a heavy trooper of some kind. Or a team cook or team janitor or something. You can dig deep within your creative catacombs and I'll most likely consider it, provided it's not too gamebreaky/unbelievable.
"You're an enemy of art and I pity your ignorance" - Domingo Montoya Help save the rainforest for free simply by going to Ecosia.org.I'm off for one weekend and there's more than a hundred posts up and running. O_O
All right. Time to catch up for Amelia...
Actually I have no idea what the hell was displaying 100+. I swear I wasn't drinking over the weekend. Much.

Charlie Stross's cheerful, optimistic predictions for 2017, part one of three.Fixed Kul Moko apparently seeing double.
I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.Quick announcement time. I have a few errands to run today so I think I'll put up my next main thread post sometime this evening. While this gives you guys some more time communicate, I plan on my next post timeskipping ahead to arriving on Tynna. Is this okay with everybody or would you prefer to hang out in the hangar for a bit and converse among yourselves?

"You're an enemy of art and I pity your ignorance" - Domingo Montoya Help save the rainforest for free simply by going to Ecosia.org.Skipping to Tynna works for me.
All are significantly abnormal in a normal world... All are significantly normal in an abnormal world.I'd like a little more time but that's just me.
I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.I'd rather do it sooner rather than later myself.
I assume we'll have some family bonding time at some point planetside, so I'll go with "sooner".
Time skip is welcome.
Okay so some of you haven't posted yet and Thrall prefers some more time to get acquainted so I figure I'll compromise. My next post will be a timeskip to Tynna's surface but I'll delay that post until tomorrow - probably in the late morning/early afternoon. In the meantime, feel free to converse and better acquaint yourselves with teammates. Also, remember that if your characters were in Trouble Squad awhile, they will likely know other veteran Trouble Squad members.
"You're an enemy of art and I pity your ignorance" - Domingo Montoya Help save the rainforest for free simply by going to Ecosia.org.Okay so main post is up. Sorry if my nonexistant drawing skills weren't adequate to provide a good representation of the battle area.
Also, I didn't put this in the post because it was pretty long already but I have some more details about the three buildings in the fort. The barracks are pretty big and is two stories tall, with plenty of windows. It mostly has a bunch of cots, blankets, cleaning stuff, and those sorts of things It also has a bell tower up top that can provide a panoramic view of the fort and its surrounding areas. The mess hall is only one story tall, with a few kitchen supplies inside but it's mostly empty because the government people that evacuated the fort took most of the stuff with them. They did leave those long mess-hall tables and a bunch of chairs though. The commander's quarters is basically just a typical, two story house, with sparse furnishings. If one of you wants to explore that house, I could post more details about what's inside.
Also, if it wasn't clear, the fort is pretty old and originally served a military purpose. However, it was abandoned a while ago once the war was over. It was repurposed by the Tynnans to serve as the home of its shield generator because of its out of the way location and because the Tynnans prefer recycling old buildings instead of destroying the environment to craft new ones. They're all naturey and stuff in the canon.
And if it's not clear in the drawing/my post, the shield generator (about the size of an automobile but a bit shorter in height) sits between the barracks and the commander's house/mess hall. The fort itself has an area of around fifty yards

and . Sounds good I'm about to head out so I won't be back online probably until this evening. Also, those descriptions of Trouble Squad's past indiscretions and mistakes are just supposed to be a funny Noodle Incident so you don't have to figure out what your character was doing during that time, unless you want to, of course.
I can't think of anything else to post so enjoy! And post any questions you might have here.
