Ambiguous Name: Weather Report Narration

I want to rename Weather Report Narration to Weather Report Opening, because its apparently about openings, not narration in general.

Its first line: "Weather Report Narration is when some of the first words in a story are a comment on the weather."

Laconic.Weather Report Narration:

"The first line to establish a setting is to note the weather."

We'd need a wick check to see if it's being misused, but I have to admit, that's not very clear to me...it makes me think of someone actually giving narration in the style of a live weather broadcast. Weather Report Cold Open or Weather Report Introduction seems more intuitive.

Weather Cold Open or Weather Report Opening both work for me. Weather Report Cold Open feels unwieldy, somehow.

The trope appears to date back to 2011, judging by the attached YKTTW, and the Related page says:

Main/WeatherReportNarration found in: 27 articles, excluding discussions.

Since January 1, 2012 this article has brought 126 people to the wiki from non-search engine links.

I think that's pretty good evidence that it's underperforming, so a wick check probably won't be necessary.

Note that there's Weather Report, and News Broadcast which are about actual weather reports and news broadcasts... But, shall we just focus on Weather Report Narration for now?

Chiming in in favor of Weather Report Opening.

Weather Report Cold Open makes it sound like it's restricted to Cold Opens (i.e. openings that begin with the action instead of with a Title Sequence), but AFAIK that's not the case.

So, as I'm the OP, do I just make the new page and start moving things? 'Cause its such a small job?

There is consensus for changing to Weather Report Opening, but a crowner to double-check wouldn't go amiss.

- So, we copy over Weather Report Narration to Weather Report Opening, change all wicks to from the former to the latter, and then cut the former, right?

Well, for Dropped Abridged On It to Abridged for Children, the redirect was made then the copy was done, and the old version wasn't cut, but close enough...

... Okay, trying to edit Weather Report Opening sends me to TLP, so I guess the move is only something a mod can do?
