Cian (KEE-un) "Buckeye" Mallory

Cian is a cowboy during the middays of the American frontier that came from Ireland. How Cian got to where he is is a mystery even to him. According to him (even though his memory was a bit fuzzy due to him being blackout drunk) how he got here was from a situation involving "A Chinaman, a Cherokee, Some science guy from New Jersey, a French Canadian "Werewolf", a "Werebear" from Vermont, a trumpet, a weird looking thingy-ma-jig, four gallons of blood, sweat, baby tears, and piss, a moose, a tornado, and a German guy who said that he can 'see demons'". Also there for the proceedings was a young girl and the spear which you see him with now.

Why is he here? Because he wants to find a way back if there is one.

What can he do? He's just a normal guy (mostly...). He's a extremely good sharpshooter (hence the nickname) and is very clever and sneaky. He also knows how to make anno, dynamite, smokebombs, and other explosives, plus he knows how to repair guns. He also uses aftermentioned spear which is magic.

Equipment One revolver One lever action rifle that his dad gave him Ninety-two sticks of dynamite Sixty-five smokebombs Ten bags of sand A magical spear that at some nights speaks to him in the voice of the young girl from before. The spear also tends to glow.

What is he like? Very down to Earth. He likes money, but he does have a moral compass (not much of one, but still). He's kind of jerky at times.

Is the setting still a city or has it changed since the intro post?

back when this was active the intro post got regularly updated, i think, so it most likely is still a city (inasmuch as "still" can apply to a necromanced thread)

There's a moth girl Reploid tearing apart a helpless civilian robot. It seems she craves the metallic alloys comprising his body. She doesn't care that he's suffering. Food is food, even if it's sentient. Jeez... If I were a robot, I wouldn't want to meet her in a dark alley.

As the innocent robot writhes in agony, the robot begs, "Anyone... Anyone, please! Save me! I don't wanna die!"

Just as the robot moth girl finishes her meal (RIP, robot), she overhears the sound of two interlopers approaching her. She glares at the both of them, irritated that she cannot finish a good meal in peace around here.

What kind of Reploid is that? A frog Reploid? In any case, the moth girl charges up a beam and sends it right at him as a warning shot. If he were a Maverick Hunter, he would learn not to mess with an X-Hunter like Morph Moth.

-The toad leaps off the bike as the beam strikes it, causing it to explode-

-He lands before Morph Moth in a fighting stance-

Not taking the frog seriously, Morph Moth retorts, "You, um, call this a p-party, Hunter? We're the only ones around here."

With that, Morph Moth enters a fighting stance. She starts off the fight with a scattering of fake moth scales at him in an attempt at blinding him.

Thawn: AMPHIBIAN AND LEPIDOPTERAN LIFEFORMS DETECTED!

Thawn then started charging up a ki blast of impressive size in an attempt to figure out the true identities of his opponents.

-As the scales rush towards him, Rash leaps into the air, shapeshifting into a wrecking ball (with the chain seemingly attached to nothing) and swinging at Moth, the scales harmlessly bouncing off the ball’s metal surface-

Thawn can see that the Moth girl is identified as Morph Moth, a deadly Maverick working for the X-Hunters. Who are the X-Hunters, you ask? They are the remnants of Sigma's Maverick rebellion from the first Maverick conflict. They want revenge on Mega Man X for killing their glorious leader.

Upon spotting the shark mascot, Morph Moth attempts to shoo her away. This fight is between Morph Moth and Rash, baby! No interference when the fight's heating up at all! This is an unspoken rule in the Maverick code. And don't ask me to describe the rulebook. Mavericks make up rules and throw them out when it suits them.

And thus, Morph Moth gets a face full of spiky mace for her trouble. The lesson from this is that kindness is wasted on people too dumb to live. Not deterred by that, Morph Moth picks up a random person's car and chucks at Rash.

Speaking of said random person, he was about to enter his car. Upon seeing his car getting abused by a Maverick, he shouts, "Oh! My Car!"

-The shark mascot is too bothered with the wobbliness of her costume to hear Morph Moth's shooing. Instead, she waddles into the spot where the car used to be and shoved the poor sod off-

Outta the way, bucko! I don't wanna miss another fight!

-It turns out the nearby parking meter is rigged with a hidden button. The mascot slaps it with her flipper, causing the parking spot to retract and reveal a concealed container

A-ha! It's still here!

-The container opens into a veritable weapons arsenal. Taking the centerpiece is an oversized... rocket launcher... thing, while its margins are stocked with ammunition and what appears to be drones of some sort-

-There is only one problem: she is still in her shark costume. With the situation rapidly escalating around her, she hurriedly removes the suit, a feat made tougher by the sheer unwieldiness of it-

-Rash yells in a cartoonish scream of shock◊ as the car slams him into a wall-

With a smirk, Morph Moth calmly saunters over to Rash. It's time to play with her food. All that suffering will make her next meal all the more savory. That earlier Reploid was just an appetizer. This frog will become the main course!

But wait... There's that strange girl in the shark costume. It wouldn't make any sense for there to be any witnesses. It's best to silence her as well.

Morph Moth approaches the strange girl and asks, "Who are you?"

Me? I'm just a part-timer.

-Saying that, she suddenly tosses a loose warhead at the ground jn front of Morph Moth. The resulting explosion is surprisingly powerful given its size, but more importantly it kicks up a thick haze of dust, creating a temporary smokescreen between them-
