Really? That's the controversy?

I feel like it was a tad bit of an overreaction but I could see why people reacted how they did.

Because in this day and age, having a meal with someone you probably strongly disagree with somehow means you're a traitor to whatever a group you're a part of.

Didn't say they were right to react that way. Like, I understand why people would get mad but I still feel like they overreacted to it.

That wasn't really aimed at you, just at the general idea that people would get mad over people having lunch together.

For me Hbomber is basically the liberal version of Sargon. Both are British, both have strong political beliefs, and both bring up several good points in their videos. but both have issues that keep me from being a fan from either.

Just because people have conflicting ideologies does not mean that they are required by law to be enemies. .

I am not justifying their reactions. I understand their view but that doesn't mean I agree with it.

I think his points about how "the one who must not be named' videos series being chalk full of errors, free speech on the internet, and the Far left groups are solid.... Its just he also has several viewpoints that I find... troubling. For instance his views on other races and the fact that several associates of his are Neo Nazis... plus that one rape joke.

I just watched one of this guy's videos at random and started gobbling them up. It's so refreshing to find sourced, analytical, critical thinking on You Tube, a platform which is usually rancid with "rationalists"

His skill with comedy is amazing.

Like. The timing of "a giant sucking machine MUCH LIKE MICROSO-" in the Yooka Laylee vid gets me every time.

All of you Hbomber-fans, have you watched Shaun's videos? First knew him through some videos by a certain Teal Deer, then decided to check Shaun's channel out nonetheless. I find this Shaun -guy very sensible, measured and civil and I really like what he has to say, though I don't agree with quite everything.
