Good. Less is more.
Even in your Zelda games, F.O.E!
"YOU SHALL FEEL THE FLOWER'S WRATH"Late to this but yeah i'm digging the piano version of the "aha!" jingle.
Shrines vary between puzzles and combat. Sounds lovely. Exactly what I wanted.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.I want the presenters' shirt.
i. hear. a. sound.Me too!
"YOU SHALL FEEL THE FLOWER'S WRATH"No female hero. Link is still just a guy.
Your preferences are not everyone else's preferences.Hopefully they switch it up visually, though. They're pretty uniformly blue and black.
confirmed that shrines and dungeons are not the same thing, with the former being a complement to the latter, we'll still be getting "traditional" dungeons.
EDIT: Aonuma's response is a bit tone-deaf and clueless but oh well.

They were actually going to have Zelda lead, and they rejected the idea.
Now I'm legit mad.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I agree with that. It would of been an interesting change.
i'm more annoyed by the fact that they think genderbending Link is apparently unfeasible.
Kleptomania #confirmed.
Link is kleptomaniac again

fuck yes
Bit of a lack of imagination on his part.
Oh well...
(God, some of the comments there are ridiculous. One was pretty much "Japan is far older than the West, so they have much more cultural wisdom than North Americans!" Gag me.)
Oh God! Natural light!I've been wanting improved combat mechanics from Zelda for a while now
EDIT: NO NOT THE BEES

"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." -Thomas EdisonHe's already the most androgynous Link yet, they could probably just switch any gendered references to Link, give themselves a pat on the back, and call it a day.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyA Zelda-led game would be pretty cool, but I feel like if they did that they'd have to really modify the gameplay to make it fit her. If they're going with the traditional hack-and-slash I'm not sure how well she'd fit for it. Genderbent Link... eh, it would probably end up being a case of Purely Aesthetic Gender in any case. If they're going to have a Zelda game with a female protagonist I'd rather have a Zelda-focused spinoff.
Also, if Link wasn't a Kleptomaniac the game would be Ruined Forever.
Reaction Image RepositoryI like how they're emphasizing the ITEM GET message only shows up the first time after the embarrassment that was SS's handling of that.
I feel like that's for the best actually and don't see why it would have to make any difference.
Not saying I would mind a zelda-led game but I don't see it being better than female link.

Bomb arrows return!
Thank goodness; the item get thing in SS was a pain.
Reaction Image RepositoryTimeline theory:
- Ganon returns, lays waste to Hyrule.
- Adult timeline: Link is nowhere to be found; the gods destroy Hyrule, leading to Wind Waker and the events following.
- Child timeline: Link still exists; Breath of the Wild happens.
I'd like an explanation of those watchtowers

They seem to be going for the Metroid Prime approach to storytelling from they way they've been describing it
