confirmed that shrines and dungeons are not the same thing, with the former being a complement to the latter, we'll still be getting "traditional" dungeons.

A Zelda-led game would be pretty cool, but I feel like if they did that they'd have to really modify the gameplay to make it fit her. If they're going with the traditional hack-and-slash I'm not sure how well she'd fit for it. Genderbent Link... eh, it would probably end up being a case of Purely Aesthetic Gender in any case. If they're going to have a Zelda game with a female protagonist I'd rather have a Zelda-focused spinoff.
Also, if Link wasn't a Kleptomaniac the game would be Ruined Forever.

I like how they're emphasizing the ITEM GET message only shows up the first time after the embarrassment that was SS's handling of that.
I feel like that's for the best actually and don't see why it would have to make any difference.
Not saying I would mind a zelda-led game but I don't see it being better than female link.

Timeline theory:
- Ganon returns, lays waste to Hyrule.
- Adult timeline: Link is nowhere to be found; the gods destroy Hyrule, leading to Wind Waker and the events following.
- Child timeline: Link still exists; Breath of the Wild happens.
