I am not a fan of the inclusion of weapon degradation.
"Yup. That tasted purple."I'll admit I am a bit wary of that, though the game seems to hand out new weapons like candy, and the Master Sword will probably be unbreakable eventually. It does seem like an odd thing to include though.
Ugh, I wish I could actually watch the stream now.

Reaction Image RepositoryWaypoints confirmed.
I mean, shield durability was a thing in Skyward Sword. I don't think I mind to much.
Oh God! Natural light!Shield durability could be circumvented if you were skilled, to be fair. Perfect guards didn't degrade the shield, which just made them all the more overpowered in that game.

Dungeon/Shrine time. There's a lot of them. Now we're talking business.
I think weapon degradation can work well, if done right. And it does encourage mixing up your moveset.
These early weapons do seem to break very easily, hopefully later ones become increasingly durable. And I'd be surprised if there's no way to craft something to repair them.
Link is now Magneto.
So the Goddess Hylia is still a thing.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.Link's already picked up different ores, so I'm guessing stuff you craft will be a lot more durable and have staying power than random drops from starter mobs.
Weapon degradation I'm fine with. The world seems to have weapons in abundance. The relative lack of music is the western game element I personally wish they wouldn't have used.
The game looks fantastic in general, though. After that depressing S/M demo, seeing Bill blow himself up with explosive barrels he gathered and seeing Shiko (sp?) smacking around a skeleton with its own arm was just what I needed.

This reminds me of that rant Egoraptor had for Oo T - puzzles and combat mixing is something I'm glad they're doing.
Agreed.
Anyways, this game will be a nightmare to 100% complete, it seems.

"YOU SHALL FEEL THE FLOWER'S WRATH"It was also used in shadow of the colossus and ico, and it's a good artistic choice for immersion so i'm fine with it.
EDIT: The Sheikah guy mentions he wants to help the one who will defeat Ganon, so he's confirmed.

They mentioned Ganon.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.Ganon confirmed for antagonist.
This song needs more love.I'm not sure how I feel about the lack of music. It's good for immersion, but even so it feels like something is missing. Like the lack of the musical stings during combat for instance.
Reaction Image RepositoryRune system seems neat

"YOU SHALL FEEL THE FLOWER'S WRATH"I really hope there are more NPCs than the Old Man
"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." -Thomas EdisonThe magnet rune looks so much fun.
i. hear. a. sound. They mentioned characters so there's probably more.
I know people are complaining about an oversaturation of post-apocalyptic games and I can see that being annoying but I wouldn't mind this being a more atmospheric adventure with not that many people still there.
Huh. Heart containers may or may not be back with the temp hearts you can get with food.
Guardians hurt a lot.
@Sterok: There will probably be a Hero Mode or something that disables it.
