Also, we're one member shy of a Sinister Six. With the exception of Negative, we've got veterans there as well...don't we?

I know Scorpion was part of the 90's Insidious Six, but I don't know if he was part of the Comics Six proper...though he was part of the Sinister Twelve (where he first became Venom).

Last dude's no doubt Doc Ock. They aren't fooling anyone.

True. Traditionally, the Six has always been Ock's brainchild.

That looked pretty slick. Like a more refined Arkham fight experience.

You see what definitely looks like one of Doc Ock's tentacles bust out of his cell, and they have that red glow to them that are reflecting on Spidey, so it's definitely him.

Yup. Mister Negative is filling the spot that usually goes to Chameleon i'm guessing.

Though Kraven, Sandman and Mysterio have also been on the team.

Wow. Beautiful! This one wasn't even on the radar as I thought it was a linear platformer with QTE....

Combat looks good if a bit prolonged, but I imagine if you upgrade your skills etc then impact will be more immediate. I like the web slinging - no more web to the sky hooks! And Manhattan looks amazing.

Cortez: Chameleon doesn't usually have a spot. He's only been in one version of the comics' Sinister Six, although he's often in the expanded versions (Sinister Twelve, Sinister Sixty-Six, etc.).

The classic line-up is Doc Ock, Electro, Kraven, Mysterio, Sandman, and Vulture. So Mister Negative, Scorpion, and Rhino are replacing Kraven, Mysterio, and Sandman. The mystery villain is probably Ock, although I'm not ruling out Green Goblin either. They'll both probably be in the game either way.

The guy from the dev team that has been doing the E3 interviews has mentioned a couple times that the first two decisions the studio made about the game were that it would not be an origin story, and that the webbing had to attach to the buildings. So this team definitely gets what people want from a Spider-Man game.

This is easily the game I'm most excited for this year.

Well, Spider-Man was apparently teaching a class of potential X-Men at the time, or...something.

Oh right. I read that comic...but I don't recall them fighting a Sinister...oh wait. Now I remember.

...or am I misremembering. I still only vaguely recall that. Mostly that Rachel was kinda being a jerk to Spidey...most of the X-Men were, and he was only there because Wolverine asked him to investigate for a traitor just before he died.

Also I once forwarded the idea of a Sinister Six Million group in the comic Spider-Man thread.

Like imagine a group comprised of every version of Spidey's foes from the multiverse.

Ok. Now I remember. And then he meets X Baby Wolverine, tells him the real Wolverine is dead and X Baby Logan decided to kick ass in his namesakes name.

Josh Keaton slyly confirmed on Twitter that he's Electro. Otherwise, as far as I know, what I've seen in just speculation.

It still feels like entire lifetime when Keaton voiced the Web-Head. It's like Marvel is dedicated to not have him reprise his role as Spidey by casting him playing these villains.
