Really, because...MOST Spider-Man suits go for that look. The classic suit is one of the few that doesn’t.
The Future Foundation suit, the Big Time suit, the Symbiote Suit, Superior Spider-Man, the original 2099, BOTH Scarlet Spiders, even Miles and Spider-Gwen. None of them go for a colour-break on the lower legs.
I dig it.
It looks like a Doc Ock Spider-Man costume.
Don't buy the new Spider-Geddon event that's coming later this year even if does have this Spider-Man being in the Crisis Crossover event. It's written that jackass "Dan Slott" so it's not worth it. If you're really curious about the event be sure to pirate it.
a) How about we not spew random negativity about comics in a video game thread.
b) It's against site rules to advise people to pirate something.
Fine, just don't buy the comic. It's by "Dan Slott", who's actually not that bad of a writer but really bad when it comes to Spider-Man for whatever reason.
Spider-Verse still sucks

Okay, but what does this have to do with the video game?
Also, why do you keep putting Dan Slott's name in quotes?
The Spider-Man in this game specifically will be part of the CrisisCrossover event later this year.
Also the reason I put "Dan Slott" name in quotation is because I figured why not?
Because that’s not what quote marks are for.
Your logic is flawed because Slott is also working on this game.
35 year old white man. What if "Dan Slott" is the sixth member of the Sinister Six?
Well there's goes my excitement for the game. Although that would explain a lot why this Spider-Man is going to appear in the future Crisis Crossover event.
He made it his life mission to piss people off in "Spider-Verse" so that would be hardly surprising.
Really?
Sorry, but that is an unbelievably petty reason to lose interest in the game.
I didn't say I wasn't going to buy the game because of Slott. I just lost interested in the game's plot because of him. Which I didn't say in last post
You want to call it petty then by all means, but this guy went out of his way to piss off as many Spider-Man fans as he can back in the "Spider-Verse". Granted, I personally believe that every community (or more specifically the absolute worst aspect of them)needs to get jab once in awhile, but he went the extra mile & made it his life mission to provoke them. On top of that Slott has shown to be childish & unprofessional. He's one of the main reasons why I dropped comic books altogether.
My main reason for buying this game still hasn't change. If this can be the Batman: Arkham Series equivalent then you can be damn sure this will be a day 1 buy. More specifically I take better comfort knowing that I'm supporting Insomniac than anything else. Dan Slott isn't a dealbreaker otherwise I wouldn't be watching Marvel's Spider-Man. No matter irritatingly disappointing the overall the show is. It's high time we have a game that as good or (preferably) better than Spider-Man 2
So do you guys think Mysterio could be a side villain? And if so, would you rather see a goofy Mysterio again or a Arkham Scarecrow/Calendar Man/Mad Hatter-esque re-imagining that makes him utterly terrifying?
It's been 3000 years…He's probably in there somewhere, yes.
And neither?
Mysterio as-is doesn't have to be goofy (and, to my knowledge, is generally not treated as such anyway). But grimdark Mysterio would be completely at odds with this game's aesthetic and, frankly, sounds kind of stupid.
Also, the game has officially gone gold.

Considering spidey's popularity in Japan, I bet this will do well there.
Watch SymphogearHonestly I want more game companies to do this.

There's always the Arby's twitter.
Watch SymphogearI've seen some clips of the opening boss fight with Fisk.
Looks cool...if you forget that Fisk is not Super Human. Yeah, he's big and he's a strong as a guy his size should be, but not to the extent of picking up tables, smashing dudes through walls, and putting dents in steel pipes with bare hands.
It's still a cool looking fight, but Fisk being that strong is kinda crazy.
...Also, I really wish this wasn't PS 4 exclusive. I'd love to play this on Switch.
One Strip! One Strip!Fisk eats his spinach?
Well, there is Mutant Growth Hormone, or some other super empowering drug, but Fisk doesn't seem the sort who'd touch something like that.
One Strip! One Strip!Wilson Fisk has always been that strong.

Watch SymphogearI mean, we all know what would happen if Peter went all-out on Fisk.
Okay, but I don't like how it has the Long Pants look instead of the boots. Loses a little something to me without that color break.
