So back to Symphogear, they have some features that i kind of wish FGO had. One is that certain Memoria, there CE, give out a short story base on those cards. Also, when you fully leveled a card, you get a small amount of Leveled up cards back.

Not much, but sometimes the small things are appreciated.

I tried reading Dies Irae, it has several good qualities (particularly the narration, some of the best Purple Prose I've ever read), and while I feel it would be very hypocritical of me to complain about the use of Nazis when I like Hellsing so much (so I won't), the sheer sexism running over the whole thing ruins it for me.

And I'm far from sensitive about that, someone like Red would have an aneurism over the thing.

Not as blatant as something like Seven Deadly Sins, but it its own way, just as bad.

@TPPR 10: No offence, but I feel you suffer from Small Reference Pool on that.

...which, granted, doesn't change the fact Dies Irae is, indeed, probably the chuuniest thing ever released in Japan.

But the Nazi in Hellsing were the bad guys.

I meant more in the way that it uses the Nazis without ever once bringing up the small details about the racism and white supremacy and cultural erasure of the people they opressed and all that, it's literally just the aesthetic and nothing else.

It makes the Nazis look cool, you see, which I feel is a byproduct of the fact Japan never had any close contact with the attrocities they committed and pointedly ignores their own.

I mean the Nazis have a Latino in their ranks, for fuck's sake. Cool character, but it raises questions, several ones.

Just gives me the wheelies, you see, but this is not the place for that discussion.

At least Hellsing Ultimate Abridged addressed that by both A. Calling him a Brazillian dog in a derogatory manner, and B. pointing out that Millennium wasn't anti-semitic, just insane Death Seeker Nazi's who wanted to die in a blaze of glory, aka, the bloodiest war they can manage.
